Knights serving their Lord, on a journey were they have to be brave and full of faith, because darknes will surround them, tempt them and corrupt them if it can.A great fantasy and adventure story for Christian teen boys, who will find in it the analogy of what it is, and what it takes, to be a follower of the Lord.It's clean in story, it's short so it's not a burden for a not reader, and if you or your boy likes it there more, because it's a series you can all enjoy.

Have you ever read a book about knights on conquest and adversities that seem far greater than the hero? Well not a story like this one. One that's teeming with christian allergories. It starts off in the city of Trinalda where two knights of the Prince, Sir Kendrick and Sir Duncan, are training. These two knights, who the Prince has a plan for, are in for an adventure. Before they know it, they're on a journey against a unimaginable evil that is turning the hearts and minds of young people, everywhere, from the one true King. They receive help from a few others but even then, they are outnumbered. Not only that, but Sir Duncan is captured and there's a good chance his time is running short. Can they rescue Sir Duncan and stop the rebellion before it's too late?This first installment of the Knights of Arrethtrae series is beyond imagination. Your heart and mind will get lost in the epic story and courageous characters. The christian allergories are instructive and exciting. I especially like the discussion questions at the end of the book. They give questions and talk about the main points of each chapter, honing in on the spiritual truths presented in the story. Scripture verses can also be found in the disscussion questions that help back up the teachings. Next time you're at a Christian bookstore, either in person or online, I highly recommend you buy this book. My 13 year old loved this book. The beginning was slow and the ending felt rushed, but overall the story was exciting and has become a new favorite. We will definitely be buying the next book in the series.

My son (9yrs old advanced reader) cannot put these books down. He literally carries them around the house. I’m going to have to start using them as rewards for getting all of his other work done, because every time I turn around, he’s got one in his hand again! ;)GREAT books for kids (and adults)!

The "Knight Series" and the "Kingdom Series" are both FABULOUS book series and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND them for all ages of readers. Some of the words the writer chooses to use do require a certain level of knowledge and understanding. The stories are absolutely wonderful and hard to put down. Mr. Black is a wonderful writer with a gift for story telling. There is never a dull moment in his books. It is amazing the character lessons he is able to portray in the Knight series. A truly wonderful set.

The quality of sound and the 'read by' voices are perfect for the story. Sound effects are great, high action, love this series by Chuck Black!!

Love love love!!!!! We have been through the Kingdom Series and it was just awesome! So we were so happy to see another one of Chuck Black's series available! Our car has never been so quiet! both our boys and girls love these books!
