Sleep Medicine for Dentists: A Practical Overview 1st Edition

This is a great book, yet possibly a little misleading in the title. This book covers definitions, current philosophy, research status, pharmacologics, all sorts of therapies and protocols. I would recommend it if you want a comprehensive look at the medical side of sleep from a dental point of view. However it has virtually nothing about oral appliances or anything clinically relevant to actually treating OSA or SB patients in your chair.

Great book However, don’t buy this! New edition coming out!

This book is a basic need for any dentist treating snoring and obstructive sleep apnea with oral appliances.the chapters are not too long , making it possible to read the book from cover to cover, unlike too thick textbooks .
