XS is EXTRA SMALL
I wasn’t able to use these because they were too tight on my silkies feet. They were only 2 days old when we tried using these so I figured XS would be right but… go bigger. They held up great as I stretched them out but still. Might have to order them in a L or XL so it won’t pull on the hairs

Xsmall is for quail only
These are very tiny perfect for my quail. seem like they are durable and good quality. just wish there were a couple more colors to choose from to track bloodlines better. will buy again thank you.

WORST THEN ZIP TIES
Although they expand nicely to fit onto the chicks leg. As the chick grows the elastic no longer expands and by 3 weeks old there is already a dent in the chicks leg. As it continues to grow it will full slice into their leg worst then a zip tie. A zip tie is thick enough that it stays exposed longer. The thiness of the elastic allows the skin to quickly start to grow over it but it still just embeds in their leg. WORST THEN ZIP TIES

Love Love Love These!
I love these bands! They’re easy to put on and remove. I use them for my quail chicks. I went ahead and ordered the other sizes, too, because they work so well!If you need more colors/sizing options, just ask them. I’m convinced they can accommodate almost everything. The company ships them super quick.

For my Zebra Finches
I got these for my Finches because I've read about problems that normal leg bands can cause, and I mostly wanted these to tell my birds apart. The bands are easy to put on and if need be; cut off. They are a bit roomy, but not so much that they fall off. Most of my birds had no problems with the bands, a few do tug on them but the bands haven't snapped yet. They may break if your bird is determined enough to get it off. They are too big for Finch chicks, so they will have to be put on adult sized Finches. If your Finches don't like to be handled it can be a challenge to put the bands on by yourself.

Only good for first week
These only work when the chicks are first born for identification. As the chicks grow the rubber will not stretch enough and cut into chicks leg. if you don't take them off within the first week they will harm the chicken. I would not put these on a chick in the future if you forgot or missed seeing it, you would end up causing the chick to lose its leg or die

Really small. Too small for quail
These are really, really small. Think of it like a rubber band that’s supposed to go around two toothpicks. They’re that small. I have coturnix quail and they’re incredibly too small for them. Not a bad product, but won’t work for me

Perfect size for Seramas
These were the perfect size for my Serama chicks. I ordered several eggs from different breeders and wanted a way to tell the chicks apart once hatched. These did the job.
