I should have bought spare blades as it only comes with one. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Easy to recommend. *by P***A on December 31, 2025* I have an older 1950s Southbend lathe and have always been happy grinding my own turning bits, but the older I get, the less I feel like doing that constantly. The cost of indexable cutters has also come down to a very reasonable level, and the quality is now well within reach for home shop use. This set is a good example of that overall improvement in value and quality. In my use, this tooling is very much a jack-of-all-trades, master of none setup. I mainly use it for roughing and for non-critical turning, where it works very well. It would have been nice if a couple of extra inserts had been included, but that's not a deal-breaker. The holder itself is extremely well-made and fits nicely into my existing tooling setup.
