Bluecell 4 Ring Detachable Removable Metallic Key Ring Holder Keyholder

I purchased this item because I have keys I need to detach for work and I do not want to leave all of my keys hanging from any lock (plus, I do not want to have to remove them from a single key ring in the course of a day). I owned this one for approximately two weeks, which it worked great, but I then began noticing the large metal ring began to bend and start losing the smaller rings and my keys. The lose ratio was rather small to begin with, typically losing a key or two in my pockets, but it increased in severity around the three week - one month mark. Once it got around the one month mark, the mechanism busted in my pocket rendering the whole key ring worthless. I attempted to put the thing back together but I was unable to find the necessary tool allowing me to tighten the spindle and top ring back together. This is a case of bad materials and/or bad engineering for a good idea as the key ring was easy for removing keys (which is the point of this item).

I really like this product. It's easy for me to pull the top up and turn it so I can take out keys. I also like that the main part of the keychain is not heavy. My boss who has arthritis really loved it when I showed it to her so I know what I'm getting her for her xmas present. I'm going to see if I can get the circular part engraved. I will check back again in a month or so so you know if it still works.**UPDATE** 6 months later and I still love it! No problems with it. Maybe cuz' I don't have a gazillon keys on it?

Not too impressed with this product. The "ball bearings" (for lack of a better term) that slide around the keychain are not smooth. They get caught up (on something, not sure) and are somewhat annoying when removing the rings/keys from the main body. Secondly, after only a month or two, the spring and pin that hold the main hook in place came out. I was walking and then all of a sudden my keys were on the floor. Overall, the quality felt janky and the fact that it basically fell apart on me knocks the rating down.

I liked it because it was affordable and a good size. I found the top ring holder can open from either side which makes it less of a bother to put the keys in a specific order. It has been sturdy and does not come apart as I feared it might.

This is a simple yet effective and elegant design. The four key rings can be detached individually making it easy to loan individual keys or use them separately in different locations. Simply pull up on the large ring at the top opening the channel to slide out a ring at either end. The only limitation is that pulling up the large ring does not require a whole lot of force and a heavy loaded key ring might open on its own, if suspended from the main ring.

I wish I could give this a better review. I love the design and the idea. It is perfect for my needs as I am always switching keys and it made life easy. I bought two of these, they were a little clunky at first because they didn't slide easily and now both are broken beyond repair.

This key ring was exactly what I wanted when I placed the order. I can now easily separate the keys I need to remove from the ring very quickly.
