Great for learning
Purchased this book for my EKG Class and I loved every page of it. The only complaint I had was that you get thrown for a loop when the book transitions from generalized Wave Readings to in depth readings.

Best on the market
This is THE book to learn 12-leads. It's super easy to read, thorough treatment of the subject and includes the best graphics of any book I've ever seen. Should be mandatory for any nurse or doctor that comes close to cardiac stuff.

Nice pictures
I purchased this book for a class. I don't care for having to turn the book sideways in order to read it. The instructor of the class is going to use a different book due to the way the material is presented. Other than the page layout, I do not have any problems with it.

One of the best.
Excellent and easy-to-understand resource. Have used it for 12-lead training at the paramedic and AEMT 2011 level with good success.

If you're going to buy this, buy the full version instead
I purchased this book on accident not realizing it wasn't the full version and only an introduction. I have the "arrhythmia recognition" version of this book and it worked very well for me throughout the cardiology portion of paramedic class. I purchased this after paramedic class to further my knowledge. From what I read from this book it was just as good as the basic version. If you're going to spend the money to purchase this book, just spend the money to purchase the full version.

Layout does indeed seem a bit odd, but, great book overall.
First off, I completely agree with the other reviewer about the poor layout this book - I thought it was just me!However, we were recommended this book at university as part of out syllabus; so it wasn't a natural choice. If you lookat my other reviews, I have been givenย Bennett's Cardiac Arrhythmias: Practical Notes on Interpretation and Treatment under the Vine scheme, and it frankly isn't a patch on this in a number of areas, although it is still a good title inits own right. If you are in Nursing, work for the Ambulance Service or anyone working in cardiology this would be my book of choice. Why? The book starts out by explaining the structure of the heart, so it's a great book for those only just starting theirtraining that may already be called upon to do ECGs but not having done extensive A+P as yet in their course. Not only that, but it explains the views ('Leads') in a reasonably clear manner. I say this as it is a slightly complicatedsubject for anyone to grasp - the one area of medicine where a prior knowledge of electronics was a bonus! However, it iskey to the general understanding of ECGs generally, not just the diagnosis of specific arrhythmias. The book carries on in the aforementioned slightly disjointed manner, but the information itself is clear and concise. It enabled me to pass many a 1-to-1 ECG test, and OSCEs, so can't be all that bad! Excellent detailed ECG study guide
I first bought this book to assist myself in educating me better on 12 Lead interpretation. I am am honest, I bought on the back of recommendation but did not like it at all at first, finding it hard to read, particularly in regard to the layout of the book.....Then I percevered, finally coming round and liking it. My only grudge is the initial layout on first contact, but as I said, don't give in, it's not the most basic of books in terms of layout design to follow, but it does work.Personally I think it's a bit disorganised and cluttered in presentation, but does work once you follow the layout if you know what I mean. Not good for a quick, page turning reference on any particular arrhythmia.

Introduction to 12-Lead ECG
The book arrived in very good time, was well packed and exactly as described in the advertisement. It is very well put together, in fact much better than I expected and relatively easy to understand with very clear and well sized illustrations. When you finish a chapter, there is a number of questions, based on what you have read, and if you fail to answer these, you are asked to read the chapter again. This is the way to learn things thoroughly.Very well done indeed. Thank you very much.

Good book
Really good, easy to read book. If you're new to ECG's then get this book. Only thing I can say that's negative is that the book opens vertically which is annoying.
