La Rochere Set Of 6,8.5-ounce Perigord Water Glasses

These are a great classic. They smaller and the design is a classic. Yes, they are thick, yet sturdy. Just like I like buying things in the U.S., they are made in their home region France. Who also take pride in the craftsmanship. And it shows.

The glass has a color, sheen, and brightness that I enjoy. These are not delicate, thin-as-air glasses that disappear over time. No, these are sturdy glasses that can survive daily life and will stick with you over the years. Sensible yet somehow luxurious, too. Note: they have seams from machine pressing. Made in France. Only holds 8 ounces if filled to the very brim. If filled to a reasonable level, holds about 6 ounces.

The glasses arrived timely and were well packed. We like them because they are “footed” and aren’t as likely to leave a sweat ring on a table. In the past, we bought this same glass at an upscale kitchen store but they do not currently carry them.

The product comes with a story. They gave this line the French name, but it is made in Spain--which is fine. They use recycled glass and create a pretty good looking wine glass. They also have other pieces to their collection--bowls and plates as well.

These are just lovely!! Quite a delay in shipping but that was only due to my local ups! Wonderful sturdy glasses I use for whine. Their small so need multiple refills but other than that! I love these cute glasses!

Very nice glasses but they're quite small. I have small hands and my hand can almost go around the glass. I was looking for the actual water goblet size of the La Rochere Perigords and didn't read the description of this closely enough to see they mention they're the "wine" size. I ordered the water goblets, that are sold on Amazon as well, and hopefully those will be the right size!

Much heavier than expected, even anticipating them to be heavy. The seam is very obvious: even though I knew there was going to be a seam based on other reviews, I was surprised by it, as it is more pronounced than other glasses with seams I have. I decided to keep them, however, because they are rustic, and somewhat 'bistrot,' and will work with my traditional French dinnerware - looks nice without being too fancy.

I've been looking at these goblets for quite a while. When I received them, they were smaller than expected, but i did choose the smaller size (they noted they were a water glass. These are smaller than expected for water). Additionally, there's a noticeable line where the glass meets (a seam) which I would not have expected for the price. This item is something I'd find at a Marshall's or TJ Maxx. The glasses are heavy as well, which I thought they might be weighty, but not heavy. I'd skip these and get something lower priced.

Love these. Very sturdy, not too tall so won’t easily tip. Thick so will last. Cute, elegant and simple.Yes, the seam shows I don’t mind. I think they are excellent for both casual and formal occasions and could be used for water too but I am using for wine.
