Haikyu!!, Vol. 32 (32)

On one hand, this match has stayed within expectations and carried us to an entire 3 set experience for the Inarizaki’s v Karasuno’s match, but on the other, this match has moved into a new territory switching up who vital players are and giving us a team that is actually NEW and compelling. This is a contrast to those other exciting matches that have used previous teams to partially use as a crutch for excitement. I mean who doesn’t love seeing Nekoma’s or Aoba Josai’s or Shiratorizawa’s.That said, this is a pretty great volume that becomes an irresistible page-turned halfway through. In fact, it will be hard for anyone to put this volume down at such a point as one would want to see what new tricks both Inarizaki and Karasuno pull out of their sleeves to one up the other. There are lots of cool surprises and cool moments for new and old characters alike. Additionally, some of the lines some of the characters have describing hunger, or even how cool someone is, or in another case, flukes, end up being quite memorable.Really wonderful volume overall.

SPOILER AHEAD.Ok, Furudate, we need to talk.IT’s 5 am, this volume is a masterpiece and I can’t feel my face anymore from crying. But this is Haikyuu, I guess, you start because why not and you end up sobbing like a proud soccer mom because Hinata received a ball, or Nishinoya stopped the twins or because Kageyama is the best boy that ever lived or whatever happened in this volume, cause honestly I can’t remember everything, it was too much.I’m catatonic rn.THE PACING OF THIS VOLUME, let’s talk about it. It’s INSANE, I don’t event know where to start. And THE ART! Like… this is not normal. IT was like watching a 3D movie.I’m going to cry again now.

This volume of Haikyu is easily one of the series strongest! All of the series strengths are here in spades! With strong characters moments, intense action, and perfectly paced emotional resonance that is of a truly high caliber not just for sports shonen but all of shonen!

The artwork is stylistically superb, changing in drama and tension to suit what is happening in the story. The character development is generous even to minor characters, the author taking time to breath life into them even when they remain in the tale even for only a short time. Simply put Furudate has a masterful grasp on character driven storytelling, making the action matter, because it matters to those characters, and because he takes the time, those characters matter to the reader. A superb work well deserving of its long and continued run. I had no idea volleyball would enthrall me so deeply. I’d give it ten stars if I could.

Pra mim demorou um prazo de 4 dias pra chegar, veio embalado direitinho.Esse é uma das minhas edições favoritas, esse volume é cheio de emoção, é engraçado como mesmo pelo mangá você consegue torcer e vibrar com as jogadas. Sem dar spoilers, essa edição conta boa parte do 3ºset, e conta um pouco mais sobre os Miyas. Também tem desenvolvimento de personagens importantes! Enfim, se tiver de escolher uma edição pra comprar, pode escolher essa com certeza que você não vai se arrepender, é uma das partidas mais legais do mangá!

Cuando vi que estaba disponible en Prime, no lo pensé 2 veces, es de mis portadas favoritas (donde no salen los chicos de Karasuno). Llegó en muy buenas condiciones y dentro del tiempo comprometido.

The volumes were delivered quickly in Brazil. I loved! Haikyuu is one of my favorites animes and now I am buying the manga!
