LANEIGE Lip Sleeping Mask Grapefruit, 0.7 Oz

After trying this for a few days and not seeing or feeling any difference at all, I began to research what people loved about it. I came across some photos of fake vs. authentic and realized that what I received was a fake--no wonder it didn't do anything! If you are going to buy this product I'd recommend purchasing from Sephora instead of Amazon so you can ensure you get what you pay for.

This is a fake product. Ordered the real one which is on the left in this photo.

Item arrived with the jar unscrewed and open and a hair on the lip balm. In addition, box arrived dirty with stains and dents.

i'm like 80% sure this is not an authentic sleeping mask. the texture of the mask was more of a thick lip balm. after using it for about 2 weeks i noticed bumps developing on the bottom side of my upper lips. so i stopped using it. such a waste. lesson learned. just spend the extra money and buy it from the official sites. hope this helps some of you guys.

To b honest I was kind of nervous about this purchase cus there are so many fake ones out there, but I did my research and compared with many pictures and videos and the item is real, the serial number and the expiration date are in the correct order, the texture of the product is correct, the smell and the container are correct 2, as a consumers we have the obligation to educate our selfs so other don't take advantage of us. I am glad that I got a good one.

I have perpetually chapped lips. I put chapstick on every morning and night to no avail. Chapstick would always moisturize my skin, but it would leave me with flakes sticking out of my lips that I would pick at constantly which would make my lips bleed. Ever since using this morning and night, I haven’t had that problem. I tried this at Sephora, but I didn’t buy it because it was $20 and I needed time to think about it. When I found it on amazon for $5 cheaper I knew it was a sign.

I got this because my sister said it was AMAZING and could repair the most crusty cracked lips like magic. I use it before bed and it really doesn't do much more than my homemade lip balm does. Plus I have no clue what's in it, since ingredients aren't listed in English. Overall, it just seems like a really expensive, normal lip balm. Comes with a tiny applicator that I never use because there is nowhere to put it attached to the jar.

I was a chapstick addict. My lips were always dry and peeling. I brought every chapstick under the sun, always buying into the promise that they would make a difference. I would have soft, smooth luscious lips. Ended up having drawers and drawers full of every brand of chapstick and still had dry, cracked lips. Then I stumbled upon this product at Sephora. Life changer! My lips are smooth and silky and I barely need chapstick during the day. You do wake up in the morning with your lips coated with a "gooish" feeling - but that is the point. It is a mask that is working on your lips at night. With a quick wipe, your lips will be spectacular. Highly recommend it and it is worth the price - you will save money not buying all those chapsticks!

I am a devout LANEIGE lip mask fan. This is NOT as good as the other flavours. I have had the vanilla and grapefruit from Sephora and they are thick and creamy and leave my lips moisturized. I had to double check that I didn’t accidentally buy a dupe after using this. The texture is different and my lips are worse off than before each time I use this. Not sure if it’s just the flavour but definitely did not like this one as much as my others! Disappointed!

This is fake, it came unsealed and the information is different from the real lip mask that you can buy off of Sephora. Sellers like this can be charged for selling illegal replicas. Do not buy.

This is a fake product and not the real Laniege brand. I got one from Sephora to compare and this one does nothing for your lips . Do not purchase!
