Standard Car Seat-Back Gel Cushion

It’s a fair product for what it does. I’m a 5’4” small frame male and the back support fits my body pretty good. I drive a 2017 Hyundai Tucson and it helps with the small gap I had while driving which always caused low back and leg pain. It does compress a little after having it a for a few months, but it still supports pretty good. The other reviews were right about out-gassing when it gets hot in the car during the summer, but I guess it depends on your level of sensitivity to those kinds of things. I just found it annoying, but tolerable. The other thing that some other reviews said was depending on your frame size your shoulder blades may rest on the upper part of the cushion instead of molding to your entire back. Annoying, but, again, tolerable for me. My biggest gripe was the price. A $100??? Way overpriced. Honestly, I think it’s worth only $50. I think that’s a fair price for this cushion.

I recently bought a new vehicle and I have been having severe neck and back pain secondary to the headrest pushing my head forward. I've tried everything there is to reposition it and it still hits my head, pushing it forward. The lumbar support doesn't help, I need upper back support in the thoracic region. I thought about trading it in for something different, but there isn't anything out there that doesn't do the exact same thing!! I have been in so much pain I started missing work. I bought this cushion a few weeks ago hoping it would support my back and push me away from the headrest for some relief and allow me to have my head straight up like it should be! I shouldn't have to add something to a brand new vehicle but I needed to try. This has helped me so much!! It has given me neck and back relief. It pushes me away from the headrest just enough and supports my back. It is Perfect!!! I have not felt hot at all from it. It is smooth, soft but firm and supportive. It straps on easily and securely. I don't really even notice it is there except for that it is doing exactly what I had hoped for it to do. It has not slid around at all on me and does not move when getting in or out of my seat; which I was concerned about. I haven't had a chance to make a long trip again yet. But I have strong hope that it will be ok. If you are having trouble with your head rest, this may be your answer. It was a little pricey, but I'm SO HAPPY I took the chance!! The thing I like the most about it too, is that it is MADE IN THE USA!!! Thank you!!!!!!!!!! Please don't stop making it or make it anywhere else. Also, I am a 5'8" female with a longer torso causing me to sit up higher, if that helps anyone. It looks exactly like the picture in the details. I didn't take a picture of it.

I had a 2013 Honda Fit, and it pushed my head, neck and shoulder so far forward that it gave me chronic pain. This cushion kept my upper back away from the seat so I could look straight out instead of at my lap.If you have the same problem, you're not crazy! These hellish seat designs are the result of auto manufacturers attempting to comply with the 2004 update to FMVSS 202 in the cheapest way possible.This cushion definitely helped, but not as much as just trading in my new Honda on an old one until the automotive industry pulls their collective heads out.

I like that it does help my back not curve into the seat, and therefore places the headrest in a better position for my comfort (I am 6'4" and sit very straight in my seat). The shape and length could be changed to fit the seat better; there is about a 2" gap between where the seat back ends and the seat when it is positioned to hit my shoulders at the top, near the headrest. However, I am a taller person and my body takes up the whole seat. I can imagine for a shorter person, they might need the 2" in adjust the pad down? Perhaps in the future there will be some choice options for this? Would be nice. Very rarely (if ever, in my experience) does one size fit all.

I bought this to solve the issue of the forward tilted head rest that was causing problems with the deep seats and my small frame. This does fill that gap in the seat , put the gap from the top, where it hangs is really where more support it needed. It makes my ride a tad more comfortable but not much more. For the price I had hoped this would provide me the ability to drive distances without pain-it helps for a 15 minute commute but I can't see it helping for longer drives.

The car back seat is great for making a modern car seat back softer and more comfortable. But I needed something that was both softer AND cooler. The ad said the Airmax was cooler but also firmer. Also, black is not the color to keep things cooler. More color choices would be appreciated. Because of the sweatiness with your product, I had to get a sheepskin cover for over the seatback cushion to cool things off.

I really like my new car, but the headrest shoves my head way forward. I don't know why they designed the driver's seat for the Hunchback of Notre Dame, but they did. So I bought this cushion to push the rest of me forward to meet where my head sits. It fits perfectly on my seat and stays put and now I can drive comfortably. And it's black, which matches my car's interior.

When I purchased this it was a cold weather month, and I didn't notice the constant plastic-tasting off-gassing until the weather began warming up....for a couple of months I couldn't place the plastic smell; yet, now that I've removed this back cushion from my car, it smells normal again. It's too expensive to have to deal with such an off-gassing; yet, it's now too late to return :( I wouldn't have purchased it if I had known. I don't recommend purchasing this item.
