A wonderful book! It is a journey around the world to homes everywhere. The moral is that while they all look different, friendship and hospitality is the same. I will buy this book for the kids I love in my life. LOVE IT!

Loved it

I bought this book originally for my son 33 years ago. It remained one of his favourites; Dr Seuss really knows how to make good rhymes even when he writes under a different name.Now my son has a son of his own I wanted to find the book, as ours had long ago fallen to pieces.Not easy to find as it's out of print, but worth the hunt.My son was thrilled to find the book has not dated at all and still weaves its spell. He proudly told me he still knows many of the rhymes! Duvets were always called 'puff puffs' straight from this book.It will become part of your family life!

We all love it, my 16 year old still remembers this book from his childhood days, which I think always shows a strong book if its been held in someone memory for that length of time.Florence loves it along with many of the suess books.Nice strong pictures and I love seeing all the different types of houses. Brilliant from start to finish.

I had this book when I was young, and I read it over and over again to (and with) my daughter Hattie, and she loved it. The rhymes flow well, we read it with accents, with stupid voices and always with fun, we can both recite it this day, so when a friend was having her baby christened and said she didn't want presents, abut she wanted everyone to get their favourite Childhood book for him and put an inscription at the front, I didn't hesitate, I went straight for 'Come Over To My House'!

An instant favourite encouraging acceptance and celebration of our differences and an understanding of the big wide world from an early age. I have had to read this to my 5 year old every night since receiving it!

Nice book with interesting homes from around the world. I used this as part of a topic on homes with my reception class at school.
