Better Homes & Gardens Bankston Dining Table, Multiple Finishes (Espresso)

This is a very nice table, especially for $130. No way to get anything near this quality for this price. The finish is a beautiful dark polished wood.I'm a DIY woodworker, this table is sturdy. Two large M8 bolts join the legs to the tabletop. It comes with scrap wooden protecting the corners. Just take it out and cut off the burrs from the screws with a knife, then attach the legs.10 minute assembly. Highly recommended.

I had to upgrade my 4-person round table to a 6 person table. I found this to be the perfect size, color and construction to match my space and the 4 existing chairs I have. I also found and bought a bench (from Amazon) with matching dark brown or espresso color and its cushion matches the color of the cushions on my chair. I love this table. It’s simple, yet sturdy and elegant. It’s not too big either which was exactly what I was looking for.

This is a gorgeous table. Its not a dark brown like the photo. Its more a medium brown but looks dark in a dark room. Expresso is the darkest of all browns which is close to black and this is not that color absolutely but I do like it and its better for me to offset some of my darker colors and black so I love this. Very natural and deep brown color. Very pretty. I think its large. I live in an apt but have a approx. 9 x 12 space for it but seems like a nice formal dining table for me. I can't believe people use this table for their computer thinking its small.

I read all the reviews about this table arriving broken or missing parts, but I took a chance and ordered it anyway. I'm glad I did! The table was packed very well and arrived without any marks or defects. There were not instructions included to put it together, but I'm an older female and had no trouble figuring things out. I also put together the Bankston bench shown by the same method as follows. I attached the 4 legs by doing this: 1 )take the caps off the leg bolts, 2) insert the leg bolts in the table holes, 3) put a flat washer, then lock washer, and lastly a bolt nut on each leg bolt and 4) tighten the nut. I went around the table and tightened each of the nuts with the included little wrench a bit at a time in order to avoid over-tightening any particular bolt and potentially causing a wobble. My table has no wobbles! I also tightened any loose screws already included in the table by hand with a phillips screwdriver. It took only about 20 minutes to put together even going slowly to do it correctly. The hardest part was finding someone to help me turn it upright after attaching the legs. I love this table and am glad I bought it. It's beautiful and very sturdy. Just what I was looking for.

Very sturdy and beautiful table. Carefully packed. Perfect size. Great value for under $100. What I am happiest about is that Amazon said it would not be delivered until Friday after Thanksgiving but it came today Tuesday before Thanksgiving and I’m very grateful that I can have my celebration at this beautiful new table.

I really like this table. One of the corners was damaged in shipping and there was a tiny dent in the table top. However, I am not sending it back and waiting for a new one because I am not one to complain about a few minuscule flaws. I planned on putting a glass top over it anyway so no one will ever see the dent. Overall this is a great table for what I paid for it. I’m not disappointed.There was a small hiccup with the shipping info but that was quickly resolved by the seller.

Absolutely love this table!! Inexpensive and beautiful for the value!! Dark espresso is such a lovely color. Highly recommended. Easy to put together, only took about 10 mins and minimal tools required. My one criticism is that it may scratch easily, so be sure to use a table cloth or placemat and coasters when dining.

Paid $130 for this table and it is a great deal for that much. Comfortably fits a large chair on each of the 4 sides, and could fit 2 on each of the longer sides. Feels like solid wood and looks like a real, adult piece of furniture. Some small scratches.
