Turtle FurMidweight Micro Fur Fleece Beanie

Living in Colorado and working law enforcement I find that looking for the right hat, gloves, etc is a real chore. I need the perfect fit, weight, and size for all my gear.I used to run to Wal-Mart and grab a wool hat and call it good. Went through a grip of them for various reasons (sometimes sizing issues, washing them sometimes ruined them, they ripped... etc).I then found this hat. Not the product I'm reviewing. But it was a fleece hat that I bought at the Denver Zoo of all places. Completely random because it was cold that day and instantly loved the fleece variety of hat.So after losing that one, I set off to buy a new one. Got a couple on Amazon and wasn't too happy until I found this hat.This one is the perfect weight, style is great (covers my ears and had sufficiently) and works well in the coldest Colorado snow, and warmest (50 degree) heat waves. It doesn't shift around and doesn't squeeze my head like some other hats.All in all... exactly what I wanted. I've now picked up two and my wife wants one now. I love explaining to people what it's called... Turtle Fur. I always say that there's only one place on the turtle that has fur and that's what it's made out of. :P

Very light, soft and warm. Fits well.

Keeps you warm without the weight of a heavy cap. It very light and easily stows in your pocket when not wearing and it is easy to wash. The only reason I gave it four stars instead of five is that I do not like external tags on my caps (which I cut off).

My new favorite beanie. I have a smaller head and the typical beanies are always sagging, slipping off, or are just too big. This is a really nice beanie. This fits me great and does not have that itchy feel some new beanies can have.

It’s a little tight fitting, but quality is first-rate. It’s very warm, even with its light weight. You will be removing it now and then just to cool your noggin down.

Turtle Fur makes great, soft, warm and comfortable fleece. This one is very lightweight and can fit easily in a pocket. Also great colors!

This watch cap is legit! That is all I have to say. Price is right, fits perfect, super light weight and keeps ears warm. What more could one ask for from it

I have an average size head and after wearing this hat for 5 minutes I actually had tension in my head. I took it off and thought "what a relief to have it off my head." Also the stitching in the photo of the black hat looks like it is lighter than the rest of the fabric giving it a nice contrast but the stitching on the hat received was completely black like the rest of the fabric giving it a monotone look.

These Turtle fur 'under-helmet' hats are extremely lightweight but more thermally efficient than traditional Beanies. Very comfortable and doesn't fill-up your jacket pocket. It is a pity that UK suppliers only seem to do the base colours rather than a range, like camo patterns etc.
