Bought for my dad as a fathers day gift. My dad like to play bowls but sometimes struggles to bend for the ball so much due to a bad knee so this is great for reducing the amount of bending meaning he can now play for longer. Good quality and easy to use.

I like this other than the fact that the ferrule is very thin and after a while it tends to split. I got a jubilee clip to solve the problem and it lasted for another couple of years.

Very useful product...well designed, although don't know why the foam gripper isn't stuck on? Once glued on, it is very effective and folds down to small size. Not good for woods of 0 size down though unless you use smaller side which is meant for jack.

When I first received the Acclaim Bowls Lifter I did not realise the hinge part had a removable slide at the bottom. I said in my feedback that it had no hinge which was untrue. The Acclaim bowls lifter is an Exceptionally good product, very sturdy and folds up neatly and fits in my bowls bag.

A godsend but could do with something to pick mat up with

Bought this for my wife who prefers to have her own lifter rather than those at the Club - folds neatly to go in her Bowls Bag.However, I did need to modify it as after a few uses the head came off because the bolt supplied is too short. Solution was to fit a longer bolt and fix it with 'Loctite' - shame the manufacturer hasn't thought of this!

This make is usually good quality, but this broke first time of using. Didn’t have time to send back as bowling season starting and need it for elderly person to pick up balls, so husband has welded.It snapped at the pivot that folds the lifter up
