Perfect Fit
Good product. I could not find a vent register in the size I needed from Lowe's or Home Depot. They were no longer available. This fit perfectly, and seems to work great so far.

Functional, Economical and Aesthetically Pleasing
The other reviewers are absolutely correct when they say that a 10 x 5 register is hard to find. So I purchased this one anyway. And I love it!!! It looks great in my bathroom and it fit perfectly in the space (I was afraid that I had measured wrong)!!! Yes, the slider is made of plastic and yes, the slider is right beside the screw. But it's economical, looks great and the shipping was very fast!!!

Heat Vent Cover is larger than stated
Needed a new heat vent cover. The vent opening is exactly 5" x 10". Purchased this vent cover and had issues trying to install it. When we measured the opening of the new vent, it measures 5.75" x 10". This does not fit a 5 x 10 vent opening.

Nice vent
Needed a 5" by 10" inch register (inside vent size), and this was the only one I could find. It was a little small on the outer dimensions to fully cover the opening, but barely noticable in my application.

poorly designed -- screws interfere with slider; rattles when air blows through it
It's tough finding a 10x5 register. This unit was the best I could find, but not well designed. The slider is plastic and I suspect will not last the life of the unit. The screw hole next to the slider results in the screw head blocking the slider's travel. The slider is outside the register opening and can be jammed against the duct unless you are careful. So, that's 3 strikes against it and then it also rattles as the air blows through it. If you can find an alternative, you should.
