I have been using this hose for 3 weeks. So far so good. No leaks. My old hose was heavy and hard to move around when I water my plants. This new coiled hose is much easier to handle.The hose is made in Taiwan. It is translucent. I was able to see the water flowing through the hose when I filled it for the first time.The listing says that it is drinking water safe, UV stabilized, and made with polyurethane material. However, the packaging does not state any of these listed features. No way to prove one way or another, if you are curious.It comes with a decent spray nozzle. However, as a personal preference, decided to use my own slide-type of nozzle instead. This way, I can slide it to the on position without having to keep pressing the handle all the time. Easier on my hand.There are a few things to keep in mind:1) Water volume. Since this hose is only 3/8” in ID (internal diameter), it put out slightly less volume of water than a regular hose, which normally comes with slightly larger ID. Nevertheless, the volume is more than sufficient for a small size garden.2) Entanglement. Need to be mindful not cross the hose. Otherwise it will get entangled.3) Coil. Since it is not a spring, it will not totally coil back tightly. It will retract somehow loosely. Since I use it only once a day, I normally try to retract it manually after each use in order to keep the coiled shape as tight as possible.4) Length. Since the hose is coiled, it will not be able to be stretched to its full 50 ft length. May be can be safely stretched to around 40 ft or so.Overall, I like this hose. It meets my expectation and my needs.

I needed a hose I could attach to a hand-held shower connection so that I could water plants on a second floor porch without an outside water faucet. I didn’t want to drag a conventional garden hose through my house and this seemed a good idea. I needed to buy an additional adapter (3/4 male to 1/2 female) to make the connection but it works like a charm. The 50 foot length was sufficient to reach my porch but it won’t fully uncoil if you need it for the full 50 feet. The hose seems well made and durable (I’ve only used it twice so far), but the spray attachment looks a little flimsy...but it doesn’t leak. It does the job for me, but you can always replace it with whatever type you need. Overall high recommend for light duty watering needs.Update: well, sprayer started to leak on the second day but a little Teflon pipe tape did the trick. No more leaks.

Loved the coil hose. The sprayer was standard. But the jet setting wasn't very strong and the soaker setting was lame. But I pretty much just got it for the hose anyway.

Excellent hose and nozzle. We use 3 foot metal extender nozzle instead of this nozzle. Great for watering plants you have brought inside for winter

I got this hose because of the good reviews it had. However; like other buyers, my hose leaks so much from where the sprayer is, I can even walk around watering the yard without getting al wet from the leak. Hose is very sturdy, and convenient, if it wasn't for the leak, this would be an amazing product. Too bad I have to give it 3 stars just for that leak. 😔

I purchased this hose to bathe my horse. Perfect for that purpose, it stretches a good distance, doesn't snap back quickly, but does coil back up enough to keep stored in a 5 gallon bucket with room to spare. I plan to purchase another one to use as a garden hose. The nozzle offers several kinds of spray and so far it seems to be durable.

This hose is nothing as described. The hose never gets to its original size. Leaks by both ends on the first try. It doesn’t spray far at all! At the most 8 feet and a thin spray. It doesn’t can be use as you expect a hose. Don’t waste your time. It looks nice but nothing else. For me is useless.

I use the hose outdoors but hook it up indoors. No leaks and easy to install.
