Don't follow their recipe
Heat the appropriate amount of ghee, fry the given masala for like 2 minutes when the smell of fresh roasted chillies hits your face it's ready. Keep the masala on simmer now, put a lil ginger garlic paste and do put some extra salt because it is under seasoned. At the end add your chicken/prawns/red meat/paneer and cook until the masala is semi-thick. Tastes amazing.While the masala itself is very good , it's very pricey. Would be amazing at 125-150 rather than 250.

Product by itself is multi-purpose and is up to user to be innovative in the kitchen.For a dish of 4 servings 1.5 Table spoon paste is adequate to enjoy true flavor as its consistency is very goodThis is surely a worthwhile purchase for Konkan & Maharashtrian recipes in particular

So Spicy!!!
Being a Mangalorean myself, this in no way has the original taste of a ghee roast.Its has a strong flavour of chilli paste and nothing else. Too spicy and not worth even trying.

A lil expensive but worth it
Have bought a smaller pack earlier n trust it's so easy to cook chicken, mutton or evn prawns for tht matter. 3steps n ur dish is ready:-) so this tym went n got 2packs... A very homemade masala which is good...

Yummy and Easy to use
We used this Masala to make Chicken Ghee Roast using chicken legs.It was very simple to make and took only 45 minutes to prepare. The Masala has the right amount of oil in it as well. I added extra dry red chillies because I prefer it more spicy but that's an addition.

DONT BUY...TOO SPICY 4X
Extremely spicy ....its like 3X spucy korean ramen....i had ghee roast both at mangalore n bangalore...its nvr this spicy n hot....definitely NOT RECOMMENDED...dont buy this

I have to thank Lily Aunty for not adding Ghee & keeping this vegan. The best masala
I have been craving ghee roast ever since I went Vegan. I have prepared this twice once with oil and the other with Vegan ghee. Ofcourse Vegan Ghee gives that extra ghee flavor. but both the versions are spot on.I have made them with mixture of Jackfruit & mushrooms and its excellent I made in Small quantities. Now I am on Diet so after 3 months will order and try it with Soy chaap, & so many other meat substitutes available even with Bread fruit.Again thanks for keeping it Vegan. I think you can put Vegan label on the product.
