This drain is far and away the best I've ever found, and I'm honestly not sure why more drain assemblies are not designed like this.I bought this specific drain for two primary reasons:* The ENTIRE pipe is one piece, where many have a threaded tailpiece that screws into the strainer. Being one-piece makes for fewer leak points.* The retainer nut is VERY tall, which makes installation incredibly easy (and far easier to use a wrench than the typically thin competitors, but hand-tightening is all that is needed).Indeed, installation was a snap, and didn't require any tools, plumber's putty, or thread sealants at all. The included silicone pipe gasket completely seals the pipe to the sink, which many if not most fail to do.Performance-wise, the design is utterly brilliant. As other reviewers have pointed out, the drain stopper is very large. While some don't like this, I find it very nice-looking, elegant, and upscale. Water drains VERY quickly, with no backup or unwanted filling of the sink whatsoever.Cleaning is insanely easy. One literally only has to grab the stopper and lift it right out of the drain assembly. The wide cage design of the strainer makes it super easy to clean out any debris.The stopper also works flawlessly if you need to fill the sink with water. Press once to engage, press once to release. The feel of the mechanism exudes quality, and is very satisfying to engage. There is no leaking when the stopper is engaged, which seems to defy the ease with which it gets installed (literally place it in the drain...that's it).With all of these accolades, why is does my headline read, "ALMOST perfect"? The one minor flaw I see with this is the curious omission of a slip washer to go between the brass retainer nut and the bottom silicone gasket. Such a washer (which many others have) would prevent the bottom gasket from experiencing a torsional load from the rotation of the brass retainer nut, and ensure only a linear compression, thereby preventing the bottom gasket from bunching up / stretching and potentially introducing a leak point.I am so impressed with the one unit I purchased that I'm going to purchase four more for the remaining bathroom sinks in my house. This is seriously awesome.

The drain arrived on time and is of exceptional quality. I was sent a chrome model, when I ordered silver, but it looks fantastic! Easy to install, no plumbers putty needed, and best of all...no leaks. The removable basket is a great idea!! Competitive price when compared to the box stores. The media could not be loaded. Just purchased this spring pop-up drain to replace a Moen lever type that rusted out after 7 years. This particular drain was pricier than some of the other drains, but cheaper than a Moen or Delta. I like the pop-up concept as clean out the old style lever plugs can be a chore.The drain assembly comes in a nice box, looks well made and substantial. clean brushed metal finish with a very (stainless steel) look. I decided, after looking at some reviews to do some tests before install.I noted very little documentation other than a general install guide. I'm not convinced RegalMix is all that committed to support as the instructions for "After Sales Servive" {HMM?} has no company contact information anywhere on the box, in the literature or on the hardware. Not even a QR code!The pipe itself is fairly none magnetic meaning that the material is non-ferrous and not steel, but highly magnetic right where the company name is etched. The brass mounting nut is also somewhat magnetic? meaning it's not completely brass. I can only surmise that the materials are blended or layered use ferrous and non-ferrous materials.What's this all really mean? Perhaps only time will tell. Several of the less favorable reviews report claims of rust and other issues. I guess I will install and perhaps edit my review at a later date?Update: The drain was easily installed in a standard bathroom sink. Done in about 45 minutes. Most of the time spend removing and cleaning up the existing drain parts. Seems to work well, hold water in the sink and the overflow works. No leaks or extra trips to the local hardware store. May switch two more bathrooms to these.

The media could not be loaded. We recently purchased 2 new vessel sinks for our main bathroom and I wanted to change out the pop up drains and faucets. I ordered 2 of the Regalmix oil rubbed bronze pop up drains without overflow and am very pleased with this product. This product is well made, all metal, easy to install and functional. I had installed both in less than 20 minutes, which includes disassembling the existing pop up drain. Holds water, no leaks, drains quick, size was prefect and is a great value for the cost! I would highly recommend.

I installed this product and the "Yodel Faucet Drain" on two identical vanities. This one is much nicer and easier to install.. It is worth the extra few dollars.

this drain is made of quality brass and stainless steel. easy to install and perfect idea with removable basket to collect hair and debris so as not to clog the drain.

This is a fantastic quality product, had to return this as my plumber could not fit to PVC pipes, make sure of your plumbing needs before purchasing. Was disappointed as it is such a quality nice looking unit.
