Capri Tools 8 mm x 9 mm Super-Thin Open End Wrench, Metric (11850-0809)

Perfect for changing blades on my Ridgid table saw. It's thin enough and just fits. For removing the nut I use a Crescent brand 15/16 box end wrench. (Not the original nut. The original may or may not be 15/16)

I needed a purpose built tool to remove a threaded barrel adapter from a Smith .22 compact. These handguns are widely known to have a problem with breaking this piece loose. You can buy a special little tool that is over priced and breaks at the slightest amount of pressure. I broke two of those trying to remove the part. I decided to just buy an appropriately sized thin wrench and hope the third time was the charm. The wrench, although thin, was still too thick to fit the groove on the part. I paid a quick trip to the grinder to make the wrench a little thinner. Worked like a charm! I shaved off a little more width and it fit perfectly. A little pressure was applied and the part was unstuck. This little cheap tool was just what I needed, even if I did have to modify it a little.

Great wrench. Needed a wrench for a narrow opening. The worked great and has a nice finish.

I purchased the Capri Tools 18 mm x 19 mm for a specific job at work, and I believed this wrench was thin enough to fit in the location that required a thin wrench. I was surprised this wrench was. STILL TOO THICK. Fortunately it was relatively inexpensive and took the tool to the sanding belt machine removing material to make it 2mm thick. The metal quality was good that the hardness was not effected, and did not deform under the small torque the wrench was subjected. I recommend this tool.

So far this tool has held up for my needs, I was in a situation where I needed a thin 7 mm open end wrench for servicing my mountain bike dropper post, surprisingly I didn't have one, so I ordered this wrench which seemed like high quality and thin enough for the job, while I didn't test it on super high torque applications, I tested it up to 5 nm, and it worked fine, the handle is long enough to provide good grip and leverage and seems well-made, no marks or slipping noticed. Overall I highly recommend if you are looking for a thin open-ended wrench.

MK 7 and other Golf/GTI owners listen up! This is the one you want when the hood latch cable breaks. I already owned 3 10mm wrenches that didn’t work and ended buying 2 ratchet wrench sets and 5 additional “slim” 10mm wrenches and this is the one that worked. Still a pain but it at least works

This spanner has two open ends - 12 and 13mm. Its the slim design that makes it the tool to use where other spanners just would not fit. That's why I bought it and it did the job well.

For those hard to reach places. Not ultra thin, 4.4mm on 17mm side. Extremely high quality- doubt you will find better.
