Love this kit.
I bought this kit to see if I would like basket weaving. It is a small basket, but I love it. The shipping was fast and packaged nicely. Nothing was broken when it arrived. The instructions were easy to follow and understand. The reed seemed to be good quality and didn't splinter much. This basket was a lot of fun to make. It was easy and fast to make. I loved making this basket so much that I decided melon baskets are my favorite to make. The bottom of the basket is round. So in order for it to sit right I just got the bottom wet and sat a can of vegetables in the basket over night, problem solved. Like I said before this is a small basket, it works great to store my clothes pins in for my crafts. It has held up great. I would definitely recommend this to other people. It's a great first basket to make.

This pattern remains a difficult one for me to master. Materials were hard to work with because reed wasn't quite as good a quality as I have received in the past.

I was so pleased with the outcome, the basket came out as shown. Looks professional. The instructions were clear and easy to follow. Materials were good quality. A good buy for anyone who wants to learn basket making.

Useful for nothing except perhaps practice
Arrived damaged with broken hoops. MUCH smaller than pictured, in fact - teensy would be be the descriptor I would use. Useful for nothing except perhaps practice. I would not recommend this, nor would I purchase it again.

Small.
I ordered this basket in hopes of using it to gather my chicken eggs with. It was really extremely small. I guess I should have paid closer attention to the dimensions.

Weave a Basket Kit
This basket making kit was a Christmas gift requested by my son-in-law. Although he has not made the basket yet, he said he really liked it and it was just what he was looking for. Very quick delivery and I thought it was a good value.
