Working Great in a RV!
Purchased for use in my 40' RV. So far - working perfectly. I am using it to power a tv in the bedroom and another for a set in the first bay. I placed the bedroom receiver in a cabinet behind the tv and in the bay the receiver is attached to the bay wall. No delay between the front and bedroom tv's. Each tv is independent except that since I am using only 1 DTV set all must watch the same program if the Directv is selected. I originally bought Actiontec to do this and was plagued with issues. It was at best marginally successful. In the end I spent about the same trying to get the Actiontec working as I spent on this. Mine was the first generation of the Actiontec. I don't know if the latest generation would have been more successful. With both generations of the Actiontec all tv's had to watch the same source, so to be able to select independent sources if was necessary to purchase additional transmitters so each source had its own transmitter which would pretty quickly drive the price up to the IOGEAR. Bottom line - the IOGEAR Long Range Wireless is working as advertised. If that should change with additional use I will update this review.10/15/20. Update. The IOGEAR has been working fine for the past 5 years. I was recently doing some work with the batteries after which the IOGEAR was dead. After ordering a replacement I discovered the transmitter itself was still working but the 115v power unit connection to the outlet was dead. Worth checking if you find yourself in this situation. Replacing the power connector would have been much less expensive solution.

Intermittent success...
I am using this differently from other customers, but my experience may be helpful for others wanting to do the same thing. I have a home karaoke system and I use these to display song lyrics and the name of the next performer in line onto multiple televisions within the same very large rec room in my basement as well as one at the top of the stairs in the kitchen (so guests visiting around the snack table can see when their turn is coming up). I do not use the IR blasters or run any audio through the setup, only video. This worked amazingly well when I tested the system with only a couple people; however, with 40 - 50 people in the room using their mobile phones and wireless devices to submit song requests, the signal to the televisions dropped several times and I had to reset the IOGEAR to correct the problem. I don't know if the crowd prevented the signal from passing through, or if there was interference from the number of mobile devices in use, but it definitely didn't perform as well after the room filled up.

go with a cheaper alternative
despite what amazon or iogear say in the product description, you cannot use this to play video games. I purchased this model because it is the only that says you can connect a video game system to it. However there is a microsecond lag between pressing a button on the controller and it outputting on the screen, this may be okay for slow peace games or older consoles that do not have a high refresh rate. secondly going through a wall is a hit or a miss situation, once i placed the receiver behind the display, in the same room as the transmitter the video was intermittent, i had to have the box slightly exposed. in the other room (about 12 feet away) it either worked or it didn't. if you live in a situation where it is absolutely impossible to run wires and you dont want to see them, go with a cheaper alternative and buy a hdmi switch separately, for the most part they all function similarly so there is no need to spend $700+ on this one.

IOGEAR 5x2 HDMI Matrix Pro - Expensive, But it works great at 720P
Works as advertised. We have a HD cable box in the bedroom and we wanted to send the same video feed to an alcove area with a treadmill, and also to the master bathroom. With some experimentation the 720P setting actually yields a better picture on all 3 LCD TVs. The longest distance is about 40 feet and through one door and a wall. No issues whatsoever. Good instructions. But expensive!

Walls may reduce the signal to NULL
I bought the expensive Long Range (200ft) 5x2 PRO version of this device with an additional receiver, even though all the distance that I needed was just around 50ft. But since this 50ft includes some walls, I thought I will need a stronger signal to penetrate them. Sadly , one concrete wall was enough to break the signal from a distance of just 36ft. I wish if there is an alternative to this device in the market.

Works great, remotes are a little funky and response is a little delayed. Best wireless hdmi that I have tried. Would buy again.

Wish I'd found this years ago. Absolutely thrilled with the performance.
I was a little worried based on a couple of the reviews I read but my system works perfectly. Easy set up, excellent quality even at about 100 ft. through indoor walls. Full HD and superb sound quality. There is no discernable latency between the remote monitors and the hard wired unit.

Four Stars
Hard to get it working but worked okay after finally getting the receivers linked.
