No Cow Protein Bar Variety Pack - 8 Flavors (12 Pack)

This was a great way discover what flavors I liked. I only ended up liking two or 3. Oddly enough the lemon, carrot cake and blueberry. All the other flavors were barely there and chalky. I liked the texture because I prefer softer bars. They really need to improve the taste profiles....

First off, I keep an eye on the amount of sugar I take in due to my diabetes. Each of these only has 1 gram of sugar and that is offset by the 21 grams of protein! And the flavors! Super tasty bars that are great for that 10:30 - 11 am snack. The only downside, if you wanna call it that, is that they are a bit dry. But heck, that simply means I'm drinking more water at work. These will definitely be a re-buy for me.

Loved the variety. I received crunchy peanut butter (2), chocolate fudge (2), chocolate chip Peanut butter (2), blueberry cobbler (2), mint cacao (1), lemon meringue (1), raspberry truffle (1), carrot cake (1).My favs were mint cacao, lemon meringue, and chocolate fudge. (I also regularly get the chocolate chip cookie dough ones but wanted to try more, yum)Definitely recommend trying them! All were fresh and I’m excited now that I know I want to order more/different kinds.

I’m one of those people that actually like protein bars tasting like protein bars (of course I like it better when they taste great as well) but these are just Goddess awful. I swear they taste what I would imagine a protein bar would taste like when it’s 20yrs past its best by date and I just found it while on a supply run in a post-apocalyptic world. The fake flavouring is enough to make you remember what good things used to taste like while the dry gritty insides remind you that the world you once knew is long dead.The fact that I just paid good money for that experience also makes me want to become a rabid cannibal queen instead of a stalwart survivor just trying to make it through another night. YES, IT IS THIS BAD that it inspires all these feelings. Now, with that being said, I’m still going to eat them because I damn well paid good money and everyone needs more protein in their diet.

Great concept, needs to rid itself of Isomalto Oligosacharides. Dig into some youtube videos on this ingredient, although its not classified as a sugar, it minds well because it spikes blood sugar like a sugar does. There are doctors reversing their opinion on the “healthy ness” of this, and people showing blood sugar spikes after ingesting. It tastes like a sweet syrup and it behaves like one inside your body. So technically these are not far from candy bars. My favorite is Lemon. Keep these coming and tweak the ingredients please to keep it a low carbish type of option. Stevia maybe? MonkFruit maybe?

When I first tried this I thought the texture was odd but it has really grown on me. I’m on a low-carb diet, plus whey bars upset my stomach (mild lactose intolerance). I like how they melt in your mouth and aren’t too sweet. There is also good definition in flavor particularly the blueberry and raspberry so I’m not getting bored with them. The high fiber is also VERY helpful and healthful - 17-19 grams!! Subtract the fiber and alcohol sugars from the carb total and only 3 net carbs.

This is my go-to protein bar now. The flavors in the variety pack are mostly good. The first time that I had these, they were a little chalky, but either my palette has changed or they refined the recipe. They pack quite a bit of protein into a fairly small bar and the sodium content is better than Vega. Not too much sugar AND several of the protein bars out there so awful things to my stomach - not these.

I love No Cow bars but flavors received were different than described. Also bars were slightly smushed and stuck to the wrapping....when bought at a store, this does not happen.
