Yes, you can. Prep your canvas with 2 light coats of Kilz 2 and allow to dry. This prevents the alcohol pen or alcohol ink from bleeding through.

Do I need a larger panel for a 16x20 canvas?

Yes - the largest in this set is a 12 x 12.

It says 24 pc but it came opened and there is only 18 ?
