My husband uses the scooper genie several times a week when walking his service dog. The handle extends long enough for him to be able to scoop up the dogs business off in the grass without having to drive into the grass with his wheelchair. The bag is easy for him to store in his carry bag and use when necessary unlike the larger more obvious poop scoop tools. It’s super easy to dispose of a used bag in an outdoor public trashcan on the way to wherever he is going. We highly recommend this company and hope they are able to make this product for many many years. It allows people with physical challenges to be more independent in caring for their animals.

ScooperGenie Pooper ScooperHave been using this product to catch my dog's poop 'on the fly'. As soon as he squats, I put it under his butt and catch the poop. Works great for this, keeps the ground completely clean, and no need to pick out possibly-soft poop out of grass and such!As an added bonus, I nest a regular poop or grocery bag into the basket, so there's not even a need to buy the expensive custom hoop-bags that this unit comes with. Just cinch a nested bag on with a binder clip, and take it out and discard when used.Not that great at actually picking the poop up off the ground though, so I wouldn't really recommend it for this use case. But I was specifically looking for something I could use as a 'catcher basket', and this works great. The handle is nice and sturdy, and collapses to a pretty small size. The tightening mechanism on one of the pipe sections has gone a little unreliable, but it's still sturdy enough for my use case. If I were trying to scrape poop off the the ground and putting vertical pressure on it, it would slide back in, and thus be cause for a return.

I spent months searching for, purchasing, and returning scoopers that would allow me to easily pick up my dog's waste from my wheelchair without having to drag around a clunky scooper or worry about making a mess. This one collapses to a small rod and the quick release button makes the easy and clean disposal of poo very easy! Granted, specific bags need to be purchased to use with the scooper and the bags cannot be tied so I carry plastic grocery bags with me to drop the waste in to. But the wire frame in the bags make it very easy to be able to reach and scoop up any waste!

I have use the ScooperGenie for years, makes scooping up my dogs waste a piece of cake without any hassle or mess. Even better, when my old one had a mechanism failure, no questions asked they shipped me a new one to replace it. Great product, great company!

I take my service dog to work with me all day. Previously I had a pooper scooper that would end up having poop on the scoop and then I would have to keep that in my office. Ick. But since the bag onthis pops into the trash and doesn't leave a residue its great for the office. Also shortens up nicely so easy to carry around. Love this product!

I love the concept of a very lightweight pooper scooper with wrist loop for ease of carrying when walking my dogs. Due to back issues, I cannot bend over without pain so this device is a huge help! That said, the first one broke after several months so I ordered a second one. The idea of this scooper is excellent, but the sturdiness needs improvement.

Would love to see the bag have an attached twist tie or some other method to seal the bag before disposal.

These wire-edged bags are incredible. The handle could stand to be longer and doesn’t stay in place very tightly when extended.I see complaints about the plastic holder/ejector section, but hopefully the newer version has addressed this. Mine hasn’t given me any problems though, so obviously YMMV.Overall, this is a nearly perfect poop scoop. About dang time!
