Sanding sucks... but these make it suck less!
The media could not be loaded. If you're reading this I'm sure you'll agree.... Sanding sucks. This kit helps relieve some of that suck, and at a decent price.I purchased these for use with my Ridgid spindle/belt sander and they work great. Truth be told, I don't utilize the largest size but even so it's totally worth getting this kit vs ones available at the big orange store. The value is way beyond what they offer.I've put them to good use sanding a variety of soft and hard woods and a bit of metal. So far they show little to no visual wear and no breakdown of grit. I do use a cleaning stick after each use which helps the longevity of any sanding medium. If you haven't used one you should give it a try, they're worth the couple bucks they cost. The grit seems accurate to stated values as well. These fit my spindles perfectly and I've had no problems with slippage or migrating. The kit I purchased came as advertised with 6 spindles in 80, 120 and 240 grit. From 1/2" - 3" and as I said before my sander doesn't have a 3" option but this kit is still 100% worth it. The value is great and I'll be buying more when mine wear out. Happy sanding!

High quality sanding sleeve, No tearing
These work great. I purchased with Powertec Drums and NXTUL spindle sander (links below). I have not used these much but they fit well with the powertec drums. some cheaper brands might be oversized or tear right away but I used the 80 grit and could remove a large amount of material at a time without any damage or significant wear to the sleeve. I am using this on the Nxtul drill press spindle sander adapter not a dedicated spindle sander. I use forstner bit speeds for the drum size and it works pretty well.Nxtul drill press spindle sanderhttps://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08LDRG8DW/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1Powertec Drumshttps://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B009NBBAKG/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o02_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Quality product at excellent price
The backing seemed somewhat lighter than previously, but seems to be standing up well, so maybe it is just a more flexible backing. No issues now that i used it.
