The Edge Guide Accessory for the CRB7 MK3 Router Guide is more simple to set up than a traditional edge guide. That is because the CRB7 Edge Guide has a greater depth range so that grooves and dadoes are possible to rout up to 7-1/2" from the board edge. It attaches in seconds to the CRB7 Router Guide (available separately) and is as simple to set up as it is to use. M-POWER CRB7 MK3 Router Guide is required and is sold separately.Machined in solid clear material for a better view of your work3 different fitting locations take advantage of CRB7 full range of adjustmentAlso included are inserts for attaching a sacrificial face-pieceSimplify routing a parallel to edge groove or channelCRB7 MK3 Router Guide is required but is not included

It works but isn't same as photo and top screw inserts are backwards
The set screws are a tight fit and could easily be cross threaded. Fits tool properly but it appears my threaded inserts were set in backwards that may be why my screws were so hard to screw in. The reason I came to this conclusion is because the thread inserts have a slot cut in them and goes have way up the insert. the slot is made to be on the inside half of the insert. The purpose of the slot is to grip the screw so it doesn't vibrate out (the slotted area is slightly crimped.) The none slotted portion is supposed to be facing out so you can start the screw easily and then use pressure to get it through the slotted tight portion. However the screw inserts that attach the guide screws to my device were in backwards so it was hell trying to get a screw started in a brass fitting where the opening was oval instead of round. At least who ever assembled the device got it half right and put the other 2 threaded inserts in the right way (slot end inside the device not facing out. I'm actually afraid to back the screws out because I may not be able to get them started back in again. Another discrepancy is the photo for the product shows a clear or no colored guide. I received a black guide. The color isn't a big deal just need it to function but either I received old stock or new stock because the photo doesn't even come close to what I received. I'm guessing what is pictured is the new product and I received defective factory recalled device and most likely all the threads were miss assembled and what is shown is the replacement for my defective part.

Must Have with CRB7
Made of clear acrylic, this fence is well thought out, the machining and threaded inserts all line up with the CRB7, and the leading 'nose' is relieved slightly to prevent hang-ups.The fence can be mounted on edge or on the flat.Acrylic is fairly soft, so this will scratch easily, but that should not impact function. I'd recommend purchasing this fence along with your CRB7.

Nice accesory
I do lots of woodworking and this product helps me make router cuts of all types when I use the edge of the material as a guide. Nice, very nice.

Some effort required
The one I got was solid black plastic material, not the clear the description says. The threaded brass inserts that line up with the holes on the jig had to be re-tapped before the screws would go in. That’s my only gripe. I mean it was over $20 and I had to put in that bit of effort to make it work. Works good though.
