CMC is safe to use in food production as it is not degraded or reabsorbed in humans.

How much should I use?

Add 1 teaspoon level per 250 g of melting glaze. If you need your icing to be softer, add less CMC (i.e. add 1/2 teaspoon to 250 g of melting ice).
