Deep malty taste.
Ordered this in error as I thought it was Old Speckled Hen and what a great mistake as it’s a top rate ale and I will definitely be ordering again.

A good beer
An excellent beer old crafty hen. A smooth dark beer with a malty taste. First time purchase brilliant. Best chilled before drinking. The beer is bottled taste better than from a can. Pleased with the purchase value for money.

Lovely Strong Beer and Great Price.
Just love this beer. The price although just a little more expensive than in well known supermarkets (and we are only talking about 10p to 20p per bottle difference), being delivered and not having to go into a supermarket just to find they haven't got in and having a wasted trip, this is a great option to get some in for the weekend!

Great taste
If you like decent ale you will love Old Crafty Hen. Used to to drink Old speckled Hen in the pub years ago, loved it, probably my favorite drink. But after the breweries take over in 2000 it was never the same. But with Old Crafty Hen on the scene I have a new improved version to drink. Only wish they would produce it on draft for when the lockdown is over.

My favourite beer!
I order this regularly and highly recommend it. Good stong beer with plenty of flavour. Goes well with a good fish and chip supper or ploughman's lunch.

Quite strong
This is my first time trying a craft beer has an after taste like wine I'm not a wine lover maybe I need to drink more to find this full taster I'm a novice smells really nice I'm sure I'll get used to the taste knocks your socks off too compared to the mainstream lagers 😳
