Anyone who tries this brand version of ibuprofen will instantly see the difference in quality. The pills are manufactured better and they have an enteric candy coating that allows them to pass through the stomach and dissolve in the upper digestive system.Generic versions work okay but the real Advil brand product is simply better.

I often buy OTC meds in generic but not Advil. I get the best price on Amazon and it lasts a long time. Something about the generic ibuprofen always upsets my stomach.

Began using Advil in 1990 when my orthopedic surgeon advised me to begin Advil. Could use 12/day when necessary. Over the years I began experimenting and now for severe arthritis use 3 in the morning and 3 at bedtime. My primary doctor is OK with this.

I have been using cheap ibuprofen most of my life, but a few years ago I switched to Advil to reduce the stomach load.Advil's candy ('enteric') coating is fantastic. It protects them from oxidation. It helps get them through the stomach lining with less damage.I no longer buy cheap ibuprofen.
