I believe the Mr Kool is oil based. Froggy Fog makes a formula for low lying machines. I believe it's called Cryo Freeze.

Any haze and or fog fluid can set off fire alarms. But if you use it wisely and don't cloud the venue in haze/fog then you should be good. Always ask the venue if haze/fog is permitted.
