Incorrect Packaging or Knock Off?
I WOULD NOT PURCHASE THESE PILL POCKETS IF YOUR DOG HAS A FOOD ALLERGY because I'm doubtful that this product is labeled correctly. I have been using Duck and Pea pill pockets for my dog for three years (with giving meds twice a day), and the recent shipment I received was a different color, texture, and smell than the Duck and Pea pill pockets that we normally receive. I'm not sure if there was inappropriate storage of the product before shipment, or if the packaging was mislabeled, or even if this product is a knock-off. The texture and smell is closer to the Hickory flavor, IMO. Unfortunately my dog is sensitive to chicken, and had some GI upset after taking two days of meds using these pill pockets.

NOT Duck & Pea
These are not Duck and Pea Pill Pockets. It says that on the packaging, but that's not what is inside. I have been giving these to my dog (who cannot eat anything with chicken, beef, etc. due to a severe stomach issue) for years. They have a very distinctive, horrible smell. And they are a very light brown color. The ones that were in these packages did not smell, nor were they the right color. I suspect one of the other varieties of Pill Pockets got put into these bags. I have fed other varieties before to other dogs, and these appeared to be those. I guess it's a Quality Control issue of some sort. I'm just glad I realized it, else I would have had a very sick dog on my hands. If someone ordered these who is not familiar with how they look/smell, they probably would have not known the difference.I returned them and will not be buying them from this seller again.

Beware! These are tablets not capsule size - picture doesn’t match.
With 6 senior dogs, we go through pill pockets like crazy. I was looking for a deal on capsule size in the duck flavor. I found this - 4 bags for $27.93 - so ordered 2 sets. Boy was I surprised when these tiny little bags arrived. They were tablet size not capsule. I re-checked what I ordered and come to find out the picture shows capsules but the title says tablets. I was going by the picture because after looking at a dozen or so that came up on the Amazon search, not all said which they were in the title. I’m still using them but it takes two tiny pill pockets per capsule that I have to give the dogs so we are going through them twice as fast. Also - if you haven’t used this flavor before - beware - they have a nasty odor but 5 out of 6 dogs still like them.

Great product, poor value...
Pill Pockets for CAPSULES is what was needed; Pill Pockets for TABLETS is what we got. Totally my own mistake. The price was in keeping with the first and far too much for the second. Again, my mistake for not reading the ad more closely. As the product is malleable, we just put two together which works well. Handling the nasty-smelling stuff is more of a challenge; that stuff STINKS! However, our dogs love them and the duck-and-pea formula sits better on their sensitive stomachs than any other products we've tried.

Horrible
Wish I could give it less than 1 star. Seller lied. They are tablet size not capsule. And they don’t smell like the duck it’s def a manufacturing error as it reeks of hickory. Amazon needs to pull this seller before more people get ripped off. My dog has allergies and it could be quite bad if I wasn’t paying more attention.

Not as pictured
The picture is of 4- 6.6 oz pack of capsule pockets. What showed up is 4- 2.6 oz packs of tablet pockets. I’m not the only one that complained about this and they continue to leave the larger packets pictured. I’m returning mine and will not purchase from them again.

Greenies Pill Pockets
In the add they show Greenies Pill Pockets Duck and Pea Capsules. They sent Greenies Pill Pockets Tablets. The tablets are cheaper, and don't work well with capsules. I have had this problem before ordering from Amazon. I have no choice but to make them work as we are in a stay at home order, and I need these for my dogs medicine. I have no idea why this is happening.
