Fabulous, Wonderful, High Time!!
I can't put this book down. To read testimonials from physicians from various medical/healing disciplines on the power and healing of whole foods, plant based nutrition, is a sign that the paradigm shift is now moving at accelerated speed. People are taking note. Testimonials of healing from chronic disease and illness are all over the internet. Healthy cooking/nutrition sites on plant based foods abound. No longer can the public be hypnotized by the false advertising, lies and deceptions spewed from the beef and dairy industries. Together, we are joining hands and hearts to put Elsie to pasture. The need for healthy eating is not only for us humans, but for the sake and sustainability of future generations and our beloved planet Earth. All I ask is that for those of us who are passionate about this movement, we must spread the message to relatives, friends, and across the net that the way to health and wellness, the way to halt the progression of cancer, heart disease, diabetes, obesity, ad infinitum, and to deter the progression of climate change is to GIVE UP animal protein and dairy. These physicians have spoke out. Their essays, 100 plus, are astounding. Take a read, pass it on, clean out your pantry and frig, and join us in a movement toward health and wellness. Wouldn't it be wonderful if someday we could transform our nation from a Fat Zone into a Blue Zone?

Here we can achieve tools for our freedom, mostly in these days 1respect to citizenship is so negleteted.not only in the United States, but all over!Also, I do recommend you try the advices from this book for at least 3 months. I can assure you that after 3 weeks your needs of medication against hypertension will be lower. Your bowels will work much better, in 3 months you will be nicely surprised with your lipids,sugar and C Reactive Protein blood levels. The risks of heart attacks, colon cancer, apendicites, will be very lowered.How is your tongue, how does it look like? Is it large, does it shows mixed reddish and white/yellowish areas, teeth prints? If so, you do need to read this book to change your health for better. Only a few medical doctors will be able to give you high quality advices as you will find here. What this book reveals is only for your best and not for the interest of any industrial complex.I found about 800 scientific references of published indexed papers. But more interesting than what such authorities say is what you will find out by yourself, via your own experience. Try!We can lead much healthier and happier lives. Harmonize your mind, harmonise your breath, calmly read this book and change your life into the road to achieve success and happiness.

Truly... I believe this book is saving my life!
The book is saving my life. It is THE GAME CHANGER. It is a MUST HAVE, kind of book. I started running ½ marathons about 3 years ago. Since my blood pressure is now high, my doctor recommended against marathons This book is broken down into a lot of chapters , each addressing various health issues written by different doctors. There are sports doctors in the book that talk about protein, calcium and energy foods . For me, the cardio chapter has so many doctors that have taught how to bring my high blood pressure to normal without getting on drugs, which I fear. The sports chapter is helping me with indurance and high energy foods.The book has a chapter with a lot of world class athletes, including John Salley who played basketball with Michael Jordon for many years (I like basketball) who are all oriented towards high performance foods that doctors recommend. The doctors in this book and specifically the sports chapter have world class athletes that talk about foods that are loaded with nutrients and energy. All these athletes and doctors say they are attributing their high performance to phytonutrients… a word I learned in Rethink Food. BRAVA - THIS BOOK IS AN EXCELLENT READ and WELL WORTH THE SMALL COST!

This book may save my life-LITERALLY!!!
I have finally realized that I have to take my health into my own hands. I have a few types of arthritis, fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue syndrome, an unspecified auto-auto-immune disease & a non-curable stomach disorder. But even before I got this book, I had started juicing. I had already decided that my nutrition was going to be my ONLY hope to actually get better & get off of over 20 kinds of medications. So I started extracting my fruits & veggies, along with nuts & seeds for protein, and rarely eating meat because I don't love cooking anymore, to be perfectly honest. Plus, I stopped taking the steroid for my stomach around the same time, as an experiment. To my amazement, not only is my pain down about 50% in about a month or so, of making smoothies with my Nutri-bullet (but I'm getting a Ninja again next time, like the small one I used to use), but my stomach rarely bothers me! And my Dad has Alzheimer's, so I'm sending this book to them ASAP! None of us can afford to delay our change of diet.

A true gem!
Excellent book! I highly recommend this book. In an age where there is so much confusion about our health, this book will help steer one in the direction of how best to manage chronic conditions that are so prevalent in our society today. Physicians are trained to manage symptoms and this book with this panel of experts demonstrate the importance of a whole foods plant based diet and how by eating this way we can live free of medications and many diseases that are directly linked to the food we eat. I am thrilled that there are these physicians not afraid to give us the truth and the pioneers for true and honest health care. There are more and more experts writing about the power of our plates, but it is wonderful to have so many physicians and other experts all in one book! A true gem.

Read this to be forever convinced to stop eating flesh and blood!
A thorough and readable presentation of the evidence that flies in the face of conventional wisdom about the food we humans need to thrive. Since following an exclusively plant-based diet I've been healthier, fitter, stronger so I'm pretty convinced!
