I bought this as a direct replacement for the same make and model as the 10 year battery had expired. It is perfect, easy to install and I would highly recommend

Ok fire alarm
Arrived nxt day.. replaced the same one where the battery had died.. with this new one.. same make lol.. it will do the job and keep the landlady happy.

The Guarantee appears to be bogus
This product clearly states a 10 year guarantee on the box yet the instructions inside say just 5 years. Moreover the product states on it it needs replaced in 10 years but that is from the date of manufacture (5 months ago for me) meaning it expires before 10 years use.The Consume Rights Act of 2015 is in the favour of the purchaser here.I have two similar alarms that have become faulty after just 6 years.

I have just replaced the same smoke alarm which lasted 10 years which is why I chose the same one

Replacement
