Does the dewormer tube fit inside this, or do you inject the dewormer paste into the bit?

You put the wormer inside the hollow bit and use the plunger that comes with the bit to push the wormer/medication into the horses mouth. I recommend making sure the bit is snug in the horses mouth by tightening the "headstall" part and leaving bit in the horses mouth for a couple minutes after administering wormer/medication to assure the horse swallows the entire amount.

Will this work for liquids thinner than a paste ?

I have only tried the dewormer. Thinking about how a paste works in the tube, I would say liquid probably would not work.
