Exact fit. Easy install. The original wire harness on both headlights were burned at the connections. Looks like the splice in the ground wire was poorly connected and loosely wrapped with electrical tape. This product came with the splice tightly crimped and heat shrinked. Hopefully this product holds up for the rest of the vehicles life.

I have been having issues with the headlight on my 2012 ram 1500 for a few years. After multiple “fixes” by mechanics, I figured what I paid for the set of two was a no brainer. Easy to install. Replaced both of the oem harnesses, and have been going strong for the past few weeks. I am pretty happy with the result.

My passenger side headlights were shorting out intermittently. This wire harness clipped in without modifications. Once I installed the new harness, which was an easy fix, I have not had any more issues with that headlight.

So I have a client who’s head light went out on his ram 1500 2013 and the headlight harness is know to get damage on these trucks ram makes and you have to swap the harness to fix the lights so headlights have to be removed from the truck to change out the harness

This was an exact replacement for my OEM part. Super easy to install!

The low-beam socket, the interface connector, and the water-tight quarter-turn plug all fit correctly. But the high-beam socket would not fit inside the plug for the bulb. I tried another high-beam bulb, some problem. I read another Amazon review, which suggested the grooves in the socket are not deep enough. I deepened them and widened them. No go. The socket body is too wide to fit inside the lamp plug. I shaved both sides down with 80-grit sandpaper, and it mated with a little convincing (pliers). The harness works, but will make replacement of the high beam lamp much more difficult in the future.

Replaced in a Dodge Ram, the factory installed wiring harnesses are of the cheapest quality and tend to fail, side note, Dodge is aware of the problem but doesn’t consider it to be a safety issue so no recall needed.
