I've had this air-vent car mount for about 1 year now. and I use it every day for pretty much every car trip. It works wonderfully as advertised and it easily holds my very large iPhone 6+. I should mention my phone is also pretty heavy due to the case. The phone never falls off - except on a few occasions (maybe 3-4 times over the entire year) when the small magnet inside my case had moved to a corner and I didn't realize. The air vent clip is very sturdy as well, and always remains attached to the air vent when I remove my phone. It is really wonderful if you use your phone as a GPS often as I do.The only negative issue I've ever had is occasionally, the screw with attaches the magnet to air-vent clip comes loose - I have had to remove the rubber from the air-vent clip and rescrew the clip back into place with the magnet. This has only happened 2-3 times over the course of the year, but it quite annoying when it does happen. Replacing the rubber piece back onto the air-vent clip is probably the most annoying part of it. Overall though, I have been very satisfied with the purchase and I bought additional ones for my husband and my mother (Neither one of them have had the screw come loose). Would definitely recommend this product!

So excited to get these items. It turned out a disappointment. I read all the reviews it seems like everyone likes it . Not for me :((the magnetic were so weak can not hold my phone RX and keep felt off to the floor when the car is moving. I need a better one . Now I have to start looking again:(((. I tried to return and items show not returnable:(((. Thank goddess for excellent amazon customer services they are able to help me get my money back . Those items no need to return will be go to trash bin . Thank you amazon

For my Samsung S5 I had to buy a cover at Best Buy because the magnet pulled the back cover off.Also, my first one had two plates in it: one to stick on and one to place under a cover. This shipment only had the stick one. (I had to buy the device again because the phone with the loose plate was stolen. There must be two types of shipment: one and two metallic plates.)Over all this is perfect to place the phone at just the right level.

I bought this vent mount to be used in a Nissan Altima with an iPhone 6plus. The phone is in a leather case so we placed the magnet inside of the case and surprisingly it held the phone in place well (except for a couple times when I hit a bump). The clip isn't a perfect fit for my type of vent -- it would be better if the clip itself were a bit longer, but overall for $5.00 it does a good job of keeping my iPhone close by while I drive.

I have a Samsung Galaxy 4 with a Mophie case (a hard case that charges my phone). I put the magnet directly onto the case and there have been no issues, the magnet is actually pretty strong. I am rating this a four because on occasion the phone fell off, I'm not sure if it's because I didn't attach the magnet to the base that fits into the vent correctly or what. Otherwise, this is convenient because I can see who is calling me and I love that it's in front of me.

I travel for my job and Rent-A-Car at least twice a week. I still need to be hands-free even in a rental car. This phone mount using a magnet is perfect for me. Every rental car has an air vent and dismount is so small I can just throw it in my purse and be ready when I need it once I get my car. I can't tell you how valuable that is to me. I travel so much I need things to be as simple as possible. Not to mention my phone does not move at all when it's on the magnet. I trust that it safe. Even though I got this product at a discounted price I would buy it again full price without hesitation.

Works great but the magnetic holder I received is not plain black as pictured (which is why I selected this product from the many similar ones offered on Amazon). It has CYBERTECH printed on the face in white letters. Not a huge deal, but not what I was expecting. Also, the rubberized coating on the magnet (which is probably a good thing to protect the phone) seems to attract dust very easily. Metal plate fits unobtrusively inside my slim iPhone case and holds securely to the magnet.

Initial/out of the box impressions... Unlike another reviewer, mine is branded "cyber-tech" which looks cheap. Works in both Honda CR-V and Jeep, though the Jeep's circular rotating vent required a few attempts to get it to lock stably without sinking down. Magnet seems strong enough used with iPhone 6 and Apple carry case. Only concern in the event of an accident, I think this will fly out and hit something/someone in the back seat... Overall first impressions are a good portable solution.
