Melts easily, super slick on snow
This wax works really well and doesn't take much heat to level out. I use an old hair dryer on high setting and it does great. Super slick once one the hill.

Great hot wax
I use this to hot wax my snowboards and couldn't be happier. They are always fast and glide so good with this. Seems to work in all conditions very well. I've been doing my own boards for 30+ years and this wax works as well as anything I've ever used. Great price, great wax, if someone says they don't get good results with this then they must be doing something wrong, lol.

Best all around wax for different conditions
Bought this wax because I started waxing my own board to save money. Goes on easy and scrapes off nicely. Seems to be a great all around wax for different conditions. After a fresh wax I'm noticeably faster than my friends who also just had a wax job from a tune shop. It also lasts quite a while, I only need reapply once a month. Pretty big brick of wax and I still have more than half after two years.

One ball Jay is expensive now so...
I initially ordered this because I wasn't satisfied with the fact that I live right by the One Ball Jay factory here in WA state but I had to drive across the Tacoma bridge, pay a toll, then pay for overpriced wax! I swear by Black Magic by One Ball Jay but I don't get enough of it for the price and the miles I drive to get it. So I read all your reviews here and bought this wax. Sadly I got into a bad snowboarding accident and hurt my back so I didn't get to try this wax out. My boyfriend did though he hasn't been riding as a long as I have so he doesn't like to go as fast as I do. I taught him how to wax his board so he knows how to apply hot wax correctly. He is a beginner/intermediate groomer rider. For what it's worth though he did just come back down from the mountain (rubbing it in my face that he went without me) and he said the wax was great, made him go FAST. It was a spring day about maybe 55 degrees or so at 6,000 ft, no new powder just groomed spring-like conditions. I guess you can trust his review, I don't know, I'll update this review when my back is better and I get out onto some spring slush. I like to go off piste no matter what the conditions so I'll give you guys a more thorough, well-rounded review. From what I know about surfactants from chemistry, this should work well during spring-like slushy conditions. With the Cascade concrete we get here in WA, we need all the help we can get from our wax.Be safe & wear a helmet up there. It saved my life.

Worked Great for Spring Skiing
Needed some wax for spring skiing. Temps were forecasted around 27-38 degrees F. This wax worked great, none of that sticking to the snow that so often happens with the warming of the snow in Spring. I use a cheap house iron (temp varies), scraper, and a set of brushes. I waxed 4 sets of skis and have plenty for next season and beyond. Will be buying this again. On a side note, I bought some other wax that had good reviews too, but doubt I’ll use it because this worked so well.

Great Value!!!!
Let's be serious, I can't be bothered messing around with a bunch of different temperature waxes, not when I ride close to 100 days a season and have 4 different snowboards to maintain. I just use this wax on all of them and go about my day. I'm not a speed demon or a racer so I'm not concerned with having the fasted possible wax. I can easily get 6-8 days of use out of each hot wax application on sintered bases, sometimes more depending on conditions, and I've never felt I couldn't go as fast as I wanted or that the wax was slowing me down. Let's just say that if your using this and finding you can't keep up with your friends, it's probably not the wax that's the problem.... Anyways, best of all is the VALUE!!! 20 bucks for a huge brick that seriously lasted me 3 seasons, so that's like 300 days of riding for me. This brick is like 4 times the size of any wax block that you would find in a ski shop for the same, if not higher, price. If you want just an all around good wax for a great value there's no better option than this. I've just bought my 2nd one to set me up for the next 3 seasons!

Works great
I ski quite a bit. I’ve used Hot Sauce for years in all conditions and it is excellent. Unless you’re a ski racer, this is an excellent hot wax. I wax my skis every third time or so, and use this on multiple pairs, and I find the performance to be very good.

Smooth and long lasting!
I was a swix user for years until a patrol buddy told me about Hertel. This wax outlasts every wax I’ve tried, I burn all the other brands off in a couple runs. As an instructor and a race coach, I need it to last all day as I’m on snow 6+ hours at a time. Hertels is what lasts, keeps me sliding in all conditions, it really does. I’ve gotten 7 full days in real Colorado snow with no base burn! It holds up to eastern ice all day before needing a refresh. I burn the others off by lunch. Hertels is legit.
