Easy read, good set of projects.

Out of 8 books on similar subjects, this is the one I would recommend the most. The book and it's content are 5 stars, but the condition it arrived in was awful. The only option was to keep it, water damaged, or to return it, get a refund, and reorder it again. *eyeroll* Amazon, please just refund this item, and similar cases like this. I'm giving the book 5 stars because it has truly practical projects and photos of every step.

Overall the book is good. A good start for sharpening the skills and some tricks.

Very high quality book. I loved the intro portion up-front that describes all of the tools and how a beginner can sue them. I have done several of the weekend projects thus far (I am a slightly skilled woodworker that hasn't built anything in 35 years) and got great ideas from the book. Worth every penny. Dr. Cal Harris

I bought this book hoping that it would give me some fun weekend projects to build. It is mainly a lot of furniture. I don’t need to make chairs or bathroom sinks or a kid’s bed. There are a few cool small projects that are more practical. I also didn’t like that the plans were not detailed at all. There a few pictures with a few measurements but they don’t cover every aspect of the project. I don’t really need step by step instructions but a little more detail would be nice. Even better, a website you could go to and download the build plans.Overall, I wish it had a lot more smaller things to build than larger furniture and the plans were more detailed.
