Large LED Decorative Festive Paper Star Hanging Christmas Lantern Xmas Lights (16" White Star) [Energy Class A]

A brilliant Christmas decoration which we bought after seeing them everywhere in Norway. It is reasonably solid, the pattern is very attractive and the light is a good level of brightness. The on/off switch is fiddly to get to but this is true of all similar items. Highly recommended.

I bought two of these stars and they arrived very promptly. The card is good quality but it’s very difficult to assemble them without damaging them. They don’t unfold particularly evenly and the edges don’t line up. The cord that holds them is only hooked into the star, not fastened in any way, and is also the only hanger. On one the on/off switch doesn’t work so the only way to turn the lights off is to remove the batteries.However they look nice when they’re hanging up and are a good size. The batteries have lasted for a week so far which isn’t bad for Christmas, although if you wanted them up permanently it would get expensive.

I didn’t expected much but this is really convincing. Lovely light. The assembly was a bit tricky but luckily the comments in here helped with that.

Product looks alright from a distance but lights are not bright at all plus the holes don’t let enough light through to make it worth while.Tears extremely easily when putting together so already looks tatty and definitely won’t last a second Christmas.Odd way for it to tie together is quite in-ornate and difficult to hang up in a decorative fashion

After nearly 2 hours of fiddling I did manage to assemble 4 of these. Although it is stated in the details and others did receive lights with timers there isn't a timer option on the lights. Because of this I have had to attach the battery box to the drawstring with a cable so I can switch them on and off manually. The Cord is very short compared to the photograph so I had to use some ribbon.The do look good in the windows but I don't think I would have paid this much for them if I had known there wasn't a timer option and they would be so fiddly to assemble. However they did arrive before the estimated delivery date

I ordered two of these white cut out stars in December 2019 after seeing similar decorations everywhere in Norway. These were the closest I could find to what I had seen. There were several discrepancies in the customer reviews so was unsure as to what I was actually going to get! This is what arrived:- 2 white, flat packed stars- cord to pull together (although you actually need to open the cardboard up manually...the cord is to hold it in place when it is fully opened)- small chain of 10 LED lights (2x AA batteries required, not supplied)Opening the stars up is a little fiddly. But with care I managed to do the first one after about 5mins. The second was quicker! I found opening it about ¾ of the way and using the cord to then hold it in place allowed me to put the LED string in. I could then pull it closed using the drawstring.The start does NOT seal. The drawstring will hold it close enough. The LED chain is not long, and you have the choice of putting the battery pack inside or resting it underneath the drawstring (it isn't long enough for anything else). If you want to be able to turn them on and off though, then you will want easy access to it! I have put mine under the drawstring so that I can reach the switch easily.The LEDs are NOT on a timer. They are manual switch on and off. There is no remote control. The battery pack is attached to the LEDs in a very short length of wire.The drawstring is not long enough to hang from. I used a piece of ribbon to attach it to my curtain pole.Also note that the toggle on the drawstring is not knotted on there. It will come off (yes...I did that!) and is a bit awkward to thread back on. It is possible though, just requires a bit of perseverance and maybe some thinner thread acting as a guide to pull it through.All in all, I am pleased with them.
