I purchased this for my home gym. I was concerned about the price but decided to give it a shot after reading a lot of negative reviews on cheaper alternatives. I am not disappointed at all. The chair is very sturdy and all materials were in great shape and high quality. Only took about 10 minutes to put together. My only complaint was that the backrest seemed a bit too far away from the seat. You have to sit all the way back on the seat, almost hanging off the back a bit, to sit with your back flush. After three weeks of use it has no negative effect on my workouts and I don’t notice it at all. After 3 weeks of use, Pros: easy to put together, heavy and study construction, comfortable seats and cushions, gym quality Cons: price (but worth it!)

I bought this because the gym i used to go to had one just like it. It's great for triceps, biceps and shoulders. Supports your back and still have room to do extensions behind your head. Also makes concentration curls easier cuz there's no base bars directly under the seat. Clear to the ground. Heavy duty and worth every penny.

Exactly what I was looking for. In my weight workouts I primarily use dumbbells. I was looking for a very strong chair with a back, designed specifically for this purpose. The Body Solid Stool turned out to be the perfect solution. I can exercise with confidence that my platform is solid. Also, easy to assemble. I would buy it again, but because of its strength and durability I don't believe I will ever need to.

I bought this item because I liked how it looks and feels in my local gym. Functionality wise it is working fine. It has a very sturdy design. The main reason I gave it a 2 star because I was not expecting it to be in color black and in the amazon site, the picture of the stool was kind of silver color and there was no option for a different color. I was really disappointed since I thought I bought a premium item with a high price for my home gym and did not receive exactly what I ordered.

Nice stool. Easy to put together. Easy to move around the gym. There are better quality products out there but this works perfectly for us.

This chair handles my weight (250 pounds) plus lifted weights and still feels solid. I like other designs however, with their weight capacities, I would easily be over the limit. This chair would allow me up to 400 pounds above my head. No I'm not even close to that weight but it's nice to have that security.
