This replaces a Speakman brand plastic handheld which had been in-service for about six years. I got tired of stopping the minor leaks and the rubber gaskets were deteriorating. Installation was simple and leak-free the first time. Output is very good (actually TOO much water delivered w/flow restrict removed). Dialing action for spray selection is smooth and positive. Nice length of hose. Overall, the product exceeded my expectations for the price paid.

I've been using this shower head for three months and love it. It was easy to install. We left in the flow restrictor, as saving water is a priority. The flow restrictor does not sacrifice the coverage or power of the spray.No problems with installation. My husband followed directions to screw it in "finger tight", which turned out to be too loose (leaked), and he had to tighten it slightly with a wrench.The lever to change settings moves smoothly and evenly, and clearly clicks into place at each setting (you can also leave between settings). It's easy to tell at a glance which setting it is on when the water is off. The three main settings are mist, full, and center, with three in-between settings that are a mix (mist/full; full/center; and low-flow center). I use the low-flow center, but not the other two in-between settings.I was surprised that the mist is not a warm fog (I'm guessing that any misting shower head would be this way, and I don't think it's any fault of the operation of this Shower Max product; it's just not what I expected). Even when on the hottest water setting, the mist is cold at high pressure. I have actually found that this setting works best with very low water flow with the water on full hot, which turns the mist into a warm, light spray (a bonus for saving water). However, when using this setting, I find that having the shower head in it's holder makes the water spray in my face (I am short), and when the spray is too far away from my body, it is too cold (even on full hot). I solved this by propping the head on a shelf on my shower rack so that it is at my chest level (I'm trying to get hubby to fix me a better holder to hang from the holder). The mist comes from 4 nozzles in a ring about halfway to the center of the shower head. I use this setting to soap up and scrub.The middle setting is a gentle, wide "rain" with nozzles spaced evenly over the surface of the shower head. From the description of the "power" spray, I was concerned that the spray would be a stinging type, but that is not so. The gentle rain is soft an soothing. You could probably get a more powerful effect with the water on full, but the spray works perfectly for me on a medium-low flow.The center spray is a concentrated spray about one inch in diameter in the center of the shower head. Again, no worries of a stinging, blasting flow, just a nice, strong spray that is great for rinsing.The low-flow center spray is good for a low-flow option when applying shampoo/conditioner/lathering. It does tend to droop a bit, so if I want it on my body, I have to lift the shower head to aim it higher.The holder keeps the shower head where I want it and pivots easily to move around to different positions. The materials are good quality and easy to clean. The shower head is not too heavy and is easy to manipulate and move where I want it. I was worried that the shower head would be too large to easily move around (as I have experienced with some other similar brands), but that is not the case with ShowerMax. The flexible, metal hose never gets in the way or causes any restriction of movement of the shower head. The hose is very handy, does not twist or kink, and is slightly stretchy.The only minor gripe I have is that the rubber ring on the part of the shower head that fits into the holder makes it a bit too hard to get the shower head in and out easily without jerking. I guess that's better than it falling out. I actually removed it for a while, but ended up putting it back to avoid accidentally bumping it out when changing the settings.In short, I love everything about this Shower Max shower head, and would highly recommend it if it has the kind of settings you are looking for. Great quality for the price, well-made, and well-engineered.

The mist mode is fantastic! It mists so well, as well as all the other options. My husband easily installed it into our shower and it fits perfectly! No leaks, added great pressure to our shower upstairs and it looks great. I was not disappointed.

This showerhead had been amazing. My only negative complaint is that when the showerhead is in the bracket, it seems to be too heavy and it won't stay in the position I'd like. It wants to point almost straight down. I have no idea how to keep it pointing straighter.

I had an issue with the the clip portion of the showerhead when it first arrived. Within a few minutes of emailing for help, their customer service had contacted me and set up to ship a replacement part. The replacement part was perfect and everything now works perfectly. This is an excellent showerhead with awesome flow. Highly recommended.

If you want volume and strength this is the unit for you. Easy to install. Easy to use. The hose is very flexible making the hand held portion also easy to use. Fair price for the superior product you receive in turn.

This shower head is the best I've ever had. It does everything including giving you a spa feel when you're done. Try it!

Fast shipment and as ordered. Very, VERY happy with this choice for a shower head. Once the water flow restrictor is removed, the flow is like pins shooting out of the nozzle, which is how I like it. Finish matches my Kohler faucet and accessories perfect. Easy to install. Excellent product and worth the money!
