Warm and looks fabulous

I purchased a Turtle fur Neck Gator. Absolutly incredibly peice of clothing. I can feel the heat from the Gator before I evern get my jacket on. I ride a Harley and live in Colorado. It gets cold in Oct/Nov. I keep riding until the snow flies and I can't believe how effective it is. It is amazing. I was highly impressed with it. So, I gave this hat a go. AND - I am just as impressed!!! It is comfortable. It fits well. It is very warm. Good construction. Quality is obviously excellent.

I got this hat mostly because of it's appearance. I love the look and color scheme. For the most part it really doesn't make your head itch nor your forehead. Their were some days my head and forehead did itch a little. But it could be because I don't wash it much either way it's a good quality hat. Give it a go yourself. Definitely not a disappointing buy on my part .

Love this hat. Great for a shaved head in the winter. The soft lining is great for comfort, warmth, and keeping the wind off my bald head. There is a scrunchy type band about 3/4 of and inch from the bottom edge that hits just under my ears to further pinch out the wind. There is, unfortunately, a large tag inside, which usually bothers my SPD, however, i don't really notice it once it's on.

Lightweight and the fleece band makes it very comfortable and warmer against your ears. It is unlined and in very cold weather I layer it on top of another wool beanie (green in the picture). The Turtle Fur Lars cap is roomy enough to layer but fits well alone. I like that it's not super snug against your head. Very happy with it.

Ok, so I know it’s kinda pricey, however, it’s legit comfy (won’t crush your head and I’ve got a huge head), light and foldable. So it feels kinda thin at first, but wear it out into real cold weather (say…around 10-degrees) and you’ll know how tightly the fibers are woven together, which equates to total warmth. The inner liner helps with this as well!Also, Turtle Fur has a promotion; take a pic and tag them in it and they’ll donate a hat to someone who needs it! Such a stellar hat, you totally want to help someone get one who truly needs that winter protection. That ALSO will make you warm…but in your heart, lol.

It's warm yes it's good quality material thin enough too fit under a helmet just the size is to small and likes to crawl up my head. I keep wanting to pull it down past my ears but the bottoms of my ear stay exposed and their is no way I would expect this thing to stay on if I was at the summit of a mountain during some heavy wind or keep me fully head warm. I'm a mountain guide and I go places where in most situations I don't want to be adjusting or fixing anything and looking unprepared doing that infont of students, I might be putting my self in self arrest at the peak of Tahoma with my hat falling off and blowing away in the wind off the mountain, or rappeling off Liberty Bell I would have no chance to get this hat back. I feel this hat is decent for more mellow activity and for smaller headed people if you want it to fully fit. I had to give it to my girlfriend who is 5 foot with a smaller head, it fits her and I'm glad because it is a warm good hat just not so good for a crazy mounteneer like me, I'm 6ft and I'd say my head isn't abnormally large but it is a normal size for being tall, I was hoping this hat would at least cover my eyes not saying that's how id wear it but it's nice to have a little more room so i could not adjust it, this hat creeps up my head and it's super annoying for me to keep pulling it down my head. Ok hat though id by it for a lesser price i can get one at my REI for the same price.

Bought for by husband for his birthday.Disappointed to find the hat isn't fleece lined as described. It only has a fleece band around the rim so will still get a whistling wind through the top of his head as it's knitted.Will see if he can put up with it when he's unwrapped it, if not it'll be returned.
