The storage tote is meant to make this a great buy, but it's very cheaply made and will crack easilyIt's not a high quality durable plasticThey also include quilting accessories like a pair of scissors, fading marking pen, tape measure, but these are also not great quality eitherThe thread is heavier weight than usual for embroidery, but has a high sheen. I have not used yet, but I have purchased this brand thread before for general sewing and it was fineI would have recommended this if the storage tote was better quality, but next time I would just focus on the thread set and not expect a good quality extras included.

Can't fit all the colors in the box, there are 3 colors that have no spots.When I opened the box it seemed like they crammed the spools to make sure it all the colors fit in the different layers of the box.I do like that it came with a color chart to make reordering from this brand very easily!

This thread is exactly what my Janome S9 likes for embroidery. Super colors and sheen.

The thread selection in this kit offers a good variation of tint and tone in each color optionin order to create greater dimension with embroidery patterns I use.

The media could not be loaded.  Awesome color variety and an absolutely great set up! My daughter is just starting out sewing and has found these easy to use and enjoyable colors.

Opening this happy little package was such a delight. It was like opening a rainbow!The colors are vibrant and beautiful and it handles well on my high speed industrial machine.The case isn’t very sturdy at first ( it’s more the little partitions that won’t stay in place) but with a little hot glue in the corners of each it was good to go.I didn’t buy this for the case-I bought this for the value, quality and assortment of beautiful thread!I’ll probably put them on my thread holder on the wall above my sewing machine where I can see them. Just looking at them has inspired me to start on a scrappy, colorful “Pickledish” quilt I’ve been wanting to do.I’m extremely happy with my purchase and would recommend it to my friends and family and to you, the reader.Threads not meds!!!!

I do love simthread it a good quality thread but wasn't aware they are only 550yd ones as apposed to 1100yds then the box is really cheap and flimsy but I wouldn't buy again as it would be better buying threads elsewhere and get the bigger ones

sehr schöne farben und große auswahl. leider sind die spulen nicht so groß bzw. voll wie es auf dem bild scheint. 500 yard ist nicht viel.

This is the second time I've bought a full set of Sim threads. I used most of the last set, so decided it was time for a new set. I just love the fact these come in a plastic storage box to keep them clean and safe. The set also came with a sample of thick stabiliser, a few thread nets and half a dozen spare bobbins. A nice extra, I thought.As for the threads, I love them. I put my machine on it's fastest speed but didn't have a single thread break. The colours are vibrant, with a lustrous sheen, and give a beautiful look to the finished piece. I sell most of the things I make, so quality and looks are everything to me. Throw in value for money and I'm a customer for life. I always think the best judge of a thread is to look at a black fill. I embroidered this on cheaper, craft felt, but just look at how great the mother and baby look... no gaps or bobbin seepage through from the back, and a good, crisp outline.Once again, I am over the moon with my Sim threads and will definitely buy again when this box starts running out.
