Don’t test without it!
Couldn’t have done as well without this study guide. I tested in the high 90s with the help of this book. Made flashcards with the information and tested well. Test questions were similar to what is in the book.

Passed my registry
Passed my registry. This book does have some mistakes and the anatomy pictures aren’t great but this book was so invaluable to me. It helped me a lot. I’m so glad I bought this book. I reread it about 5x maybe or more.

Lippincott's Magnetic Resonance Imaging Review
Not a bad book, but can be quite confusing if you have never taken an MRI course. There are quite a lot of questions (525 + 175 post test Questions). This however cannot be your only study guide. I recommend this book, MIC, & MRI in Practice. The reason I give it a 3 is because there are a lot of typos and wrong answers. Definitely read the answer closely or else you will have the wrong information before you take the registry.

great prep
this is a good book, it helped me pass my registry, there are a few wrong answers but if you studied before using the book you will catch them, i honestly only found one that was wrong but i see people say there are others, the math is a lot harder than the registry math, so if you can do atleast half of the math section correct you will be in good shape

look elsewhere
don't waste your time or money on this book. Extremely outdated, wrong answers on many questions, unable to see pictures clearly. this book should be pulled off of the market. MIC publishes an up to date 12 module review program that sets the standard for the MRI registry. Spend the extra money on that.

Helpful
This was helpful for me in preparing for my test, although there are some wrong answers. I’m also using another study guide to help me study, but this book is the best I’ve found for studying and helping me apply my knowledge of the physics from MRI in practice. The anatomy is hard to see in this book, but I will use my cross sectional anatomy book for a better reference.

Great book for registry!
Good book for the Mri registry. THE anatomy pics in the book are horrible and some of the answers are incorrect.I would not recommend this book for anatomy. The book has plenty of questions and great answers. I would recommend reading this book at least 10-15 Times, read the yellow and black book the same amount, and mri in review book at least ten times. This book is worth the money!

substandard
The pictures in this book are unnacceptable. It's hard enough to distinguish MRI's that have good resolution, but these are completely garbage. And I have found at least 20 questions that are completely wrong. The book is outdated but some of the questions are helpful for studying. I'm just using this as extra studying material. The MIC and MRI in practice are much more accurate and helpful tools. This is not worth the money I spent!

Great study tool
Great questions and explanations! The wording of some questions can be confusing and some terms are no longer in use. Overall a great study tool!
