Are these the long ones

Hello. We do not have a Adult X-Long at this time. These socks are sized by width and length. We recommend that the sock is long enough to fit under the entire length of the brace. Many wearers like the sock to extend past the top of the brace and fold over the outside of the brace. Measure the brace from heel to top and then reference the size chart for the appropriate length. We recommend checking with your provider to be properly measured for a correct fit. Thank you!

Which size socks should I get for a young man who wears size 16 shoes? He has very large feet.

Probably the XXL socks. I got large for my husband, his shoe size is 9, and they are a little too big. The tube has no heel, so it makes it easy to adjust to fit his foot and leg.

How long are they? I need them to go to my knees and then fold over the top of my brace.

Sorry for the delay, out of town. The socks measure about 22 inches in length. For my wife, they will reach up above her knee but I fold them over the top of her orthopedic boot about 3 inches below her knee. Hope this helps.

what size to buy for a 17 year old boy?

My grown son had the adult regular size Smartknit socks. He wears a size 10 1/2 shoe.

Great product

The smartknit socks are breathable, durable & fit well on my legs while wearing my AFOs. They are pricier than other brands of AFO socks but are worth the money because they hold up and don’t get holes. Great product to protect your skin while wearing AFOs

Do yourself a favor and buy them

Soft, stretchy, comfortable. I bought these when I received my afo's and realized I needed taller socks, these did not disappoint. Probably the most comfortable sock I've ever owned in my 45 years in this planet. If your worried about the height of the sock, I'm 6'4" and they come up to the bottom of my knee.
