The Competition Shooters Belt by Blade-Tech Industries utilizes a two piece construction that is designed for easy on easy off applications in the competition shooting world. The outer belt is reinforced with an internal stiffener that extinguishes any "roll-over" that might happen when using a thin belt. A perfect addition to any USPSA or 3-Gun competitor. To find your correct size, please take your pant size and add 2". A little overlap is needed to ensure the Velcro on the belt stays put. Pick one up today and be on your way to Grand Master!

Good belt, holds without shifting.
The inner belt is flexible enough to not be uncomfortable. The outer belt is nice and stiff, as it should be. I was worried about the size. I wear size 30 jeans and ordered a 34 belt to make sure it was big enough. With my holster and 4 mag pouches added the 34 was just right. I use the Blade-Tech Tek-Lok gear which adds a little bit to the length needed. I wouldn't want to go any smaller. If you run a 3-gun setup you may want to go even larger to accommodate the space the shotgun shell holders take up.

My first real gun belt
Wow, I had no idea how awesome a gun belt could be. There's an inner belt which you wear like a normal belt, and an outer belt that you clip all your equipment onto (holsters, pouches, etc). The outer belt simply sticks to the inner belt via heavy duty velcro. Both the inner and outer belts are firm, and feel great. What looks like a belt buckle in the photo is actually just decorative... you don't have to use it. Sizing is important. I wear a 44 waist, so according to Bladetech, I needed to order a 46 belt. I'm happy to report that Bladetech's advice is right on the money regarding sizing. You have to go up.

a true competition belt setup
oh, now i see what a "competition belt" means. it is 2 parts. one velcro part is like a belt that loops through your pants. this first belt is fuzzy all around so the second belt will "stick" to it. the second part velcros on top of that belt. and even though people have asked "can you wear this like a normal belt". you could, but you wouldn't. but for range day or competition, it is your belt for that day. the 2nd belt that goes on/ sticks to/ velcros to the first belt is where you attach all your gear, holsters, mag holders, etc.. this second belt it stiff and strong. i like that you attach all your stuff to the second belt and it stays on that 2nd belt forever. when you are done you simply rip it off your waist (rip it off the first belt). i then put it in my trunk. another day, i put on that first belt, head out, get to the range, pull out the 2nd belt with all my gear attached, press it on the 1st belt, and all gear and holsters are exactly like i had it prior.

Great gun belt.
I needed a belt for pistol and 3 gun competition. There are two straps: 1) A Velcro belt that threads through your pants belt loops. The outer side has Velcro. 2) Outer firm nylon belt that mounts the accessories. Once performed, you overlap the outer nylon belt, aligning it with Velcro, to secure. There is a Velcro strap that serves as a belt buckle but it just keeps the straps secure. This is sturdy and stiff. It fits very well. It is recommended to go one size up from your conventional belt size. I went two sizes larger, and I was still okay.Overall, it's a great system for your holster and magazine carriers.

doesn't look like it will last more than a couple years
Seems to be holding up alright, doesn't look like it will last more than a couple years, i wouldn't consider it bomb proof but its a nice belt for the money.

On Again, Off Again!
The idea of a two piece belt is intriguing. Half the belt stays on your pants while the other half carries your gear. The two velcro together making it easy to take gear on and off without having to undo a belt. There is a bit of a problem trying to get the inner belt tight enough to feel like it's holding up your pants. You would position your gear on the outer belt and then lock the two together. The Blade Tech holster mounts OK but the mag pouches need to be adjusted for a thicker belt. It is easy to strip off your gear though and then, go into town!

Great for competitive pistor/revolver.
I'm just getting started in competition pistol/revolver matches, and this belt is perfect. Be sure to order 2-4 inches larger than your actual waist size (I have a 32in waist, and the 36in belt fits great with a Blade-Tech competition holster and 2 dual magazine holders and wearing heavy-duty cargo pants)

Finally a good solution!!
Trying to use a pistol holster and two pistol magazine holster and AR15 magazine holster on the same belt which is used to hold the pants - with all the pant loops in the way... and trying to drive a car with all the gear on between the stages at this hour range was simply not working. This is a great solution - inner belt goes in your pants and holds them up. Outer belt gets all the gear, and it just velcros over the inner belt. All the gear stays in place, and it can be removed in 2 seconds. Exactly what I needed for the range!
