Games Workshop 64-71 Warhammer Middle Earth - Fellowship of The Ring

Very nice product and a must have for forming the fellowship. Very nice detail. Will be glad to paint them.

This is a single sprue of plastic models for the Middle Earth strategy battle game.While the game is absolutely fantastic, these aren’t the best model designs for these characters. Since you can pick up most of them in other sets, I wouldn’t recommend this set UNLESS you want the full Fellowship set at very low cost. If that’s the case, get this. But generally you will want Boromir with his horse and banner, maybe the 3 Riders set of Aragorn, Legolas and Gimli, and then Gandalf comes in various other sets too. And most don’t play the hobbits so you don’t really need them or you can get them also from other sets. (merry and pippin come with Treebeard, Merrry comes with Eowyn on horse, etc.)

These figures are TINY. I was very disappointed. Looks cheaply made.

The models are fine, but this kit does not include the profiles required to use them in play, nor a link to the rules online. To gain access to the profiles requires the purchase of a separate book costing the same price as the kit.Coming as I am from GW’s Age of Sigmar, which provides such profiles free in the box and on the website, this is a big disappointment.

Beautifuly detailed minis of our beloved Fellowship, but also very fragile. Specially one of the Hobbits. Be careful when separating the minis from the frames.
