This is an excellent ceramic heat emitter! I purchased one several years ago that is still going strong. seems to be hotter than my exoterra CHE & i'm having some difficulty regulating the temps even w/my dimmer switch. on the lowest setting of my dimmer switch we're still in the low 90's of the floor on the hot side of my little one's viv. w/the exoterra it was between mid to high 80's on medium setting. so, if i needed to go lower, i couldn't. hopefully not a big deal. i haven't yet used my IR gun to check the temps on the cool side, but my dragon seems fine. don't know about longevity yet as i just got it. only reason my exoterra was replaced was it was damaged during a move. hopefully this repitzoo will last as long or longer! definitely can't complain about the price!

Keeps my beardie's enclosure warm at night without too much light. I chose a wattage that allows the enclosure temp to drop into the mid to upper 70s D (25C ish) and I use a wifi temp sensor to manage temps and smart plugs on a schedule to turn the main heating/UV lights off at dusk and this CHE on. My beardie sometimes sleeps under this heater on his hammock and sometimes in his cave but either way the temp seems right for him.

Very cozy for my ball python! And I don't have to bother her with any extra lights so she can stay cozy all night too. Brings her basking area to a 94 degrees farenheit right above her heating pad which keeps the substrate at 90 degrees. Gives a very steady ambient temp of 77 throughout the rest of the tank. I'm very happy with this purchase! Only thing is it did have a burning heat smell but that wore off after a few hours.

Delivered in hours. Zero light only heat works great! Used for my Sulcata in California near Sacramento outdoor enclosure. Mount it at least 11 inches from tortoise. 150 watt

I've had this for about 6 months now and it has performed very well. It keeps a consistent 90 degree hot spot when regulated by a thermostat. I'm very pleased with it overall.

I use this bulb in a ball python tank it works well and keeps the temp correct and cozy for the snake

Really cheap. I screwed it into socket and the bottom tin piece just came off it never even got tight.
