BoonPlatter Edgeless Nonskid Divided Plate, Purple/Blue/Pink (Pack of 3)

These plates work great for my daughter. We started using them as soon as she started self-feeding. The curved compartments make it really easy for grabbing food with fingers and getting it out without dropping it. The only drawback is that sometimes my daughter can't see a little food left in the compartments furthest from her because of the curve. This is easily remedied by turning the plate around. I have never had a problem with her throwing or dumping these. I really think the curve of the compartments and steadiness of the plate helped my daughter when she was learning to use silverware too. She picked it up faster than my other two who did not have good plates like this.They are also a nice, easy to hold plate now that she is starting to help clean up. She can easily carry one of these to the kitchen sink without dropping it.Just this week I started watching another toddler who is usually fed directly on her high chair tray. Her parents do that because she throws every type of dish they have used. Today I fed her with one of these and it went so well that I felt compelled to write this review. She didn't dump it or throw it at all. I'm going to try introducing her to silverware and see if this plate helps her with that too.

We have been doing Baby Led Weaning and we love these plates! They are a great way to portion out and sort the food that you are allowing your baby to pick from. The platter features sections that are divided into deep enough sections that baby can reach in, and maneuver a grasp to self feed. I like that there is a space between sections, it gives my self feeder a little extra room to navigate while he learns how to pick up / pinch / grasp his food.The colors are bright and cheerful, and the silicone rim on the bottom does help keep the plates in one place so they don't slide around. (Another great feature for my little guy trying to pick up his food). However,the silicone does not 'stick' the platter to the table / tray so picking up and throwing the plate is not preventable - this is a plate you use when a parent / care taker is sitting close by.These plates wash really well, and stack neatly in the cupboard.We are really happy with this and many other Boon products we have tried.

I bought these plates for my 5 month old son. He is just eating purees/mashed foods, but we give him 3-4 small portions of different things at a time. It was getting annoying dealing with and washing 3-4 separate bowls at each meal, especially since all the ones we have are too big for the portion size he's eating right now. These plates are perfect! As other reviewers have mentioned, the compartments are small, so I don't see these working well for older babies or toddlers, but for my purposes they are exactly what I needed.Although the package does not say they are microwave safe, I do stick them in there for a max of 30 seconds at a time to heat frozen cubes of puree, and they seem fine, but I wouldn't put them in the microwave for longer chunks of time.I love the vibrant colors (which don't stain!) and the non-skid feature works pretty well (though I don't know how it will stand up once my son is participating more in meals). I will say, though, that I kind of wish you could buy a single plate, rather than a set, since we don't really need three of them. They clean up very easily so we just use, wash, dry and repeat.

I have had these plates for 6 months and overall I really like them. The sections have a round bowl shape to them so you can use them for solid food or use as a bowl for puree food like yogurt or applesauce. Two of the four sections are pretty small but it works well for my daughter because she eats smaller portions. These bowls are probably more useful for smaller toddlers in the 18 month through 36 month range. Probably beyond that your preschooler will be eating bigger portions that won't fit into some of these compartments. The plates do stack up well and take up little space in cupboard. The only real negative for me is that one of my 3 plates the rubber started to crack and pull away from plate. I have washed them per instructions either top rack of diswasher or handwash. The other two plates are still holding up well with no defects yet.

I just got these in the mail today and I love them! I was a little nervous to open the box because so many people had complained about the size but I was very pleased. The compartments are surprisingly deep so will be perfect for yogurt and apple sauce as well as to use for ketchup or other condiments for dipping. My 2 year old son absolutely loves them. He actually carried them around the house for awhile before I was able to wash them and fix his lunch. I put all three in the dishwasher after lunch and they fit fine. I do not feel that they are awkward or take up too much room as some of the other reviews have stated. I cannot speak to the fact of whether they are more secure/harder to flip than any other plate because my son is not a thrower so it's not an issue I'm concerned with. They are pretty light weight but I don't know if that makes a difference. This will definitely be my go to if I need more plates for him.

I like these plates a lot, they are cute and functional. I love that I can put several different selections of finger foods out for my 1 yr old, and they stay separated and easy to grab. My only disappointment, is that I actually bought these plates thinking they had a solid base, and would therefore keep my baby from picking them up and tipping them over. Unfortunately, they are actually hollow on bottom so they don't have enough weight to keep her from being able to pick them up. Within the first couple days of using them, she was able to flip her plate over. Oh well, we still use them all the time.

These are perfect for my 2yo! Love that there are 4 little separate areas for food. They are small but it works for us. They are a little more fun than the munchkin plates everyone has. I do not microwave these, and I handwash them, and they have held up fine. Great price and I highly recommend!

El producto si llega a deslizarse solo la orilla tiene una goma que hace que no se mueva pero el niño lo puede levantar muy fácilmente no tiene tanto soporte anti adherente, por lo que no lo recomiendo, mi bebé de 8 meses que apenas y levanta ciertas cosas lo levantó con facilidad, ahora no quiero pensar niños con más edad!!

Solo tiene ante dislizante por las orillas del plato abajo, o sea, no tiene antideslizante por toda la parte de abajo del plato, solo por las orillas, lo que hace que facilmente se despegue y mueva de la mesa

Al tener separados los compartimentos, no se mezclan sabores y también sirven de referncia para saber la cantidad que está comiendo mi hija. Son indispensables, especialmente para su desayuno. Muy resistentes también.

Útiles, me gustaron mucho, es cierto que el color del verde es diferente a la de la foto pero para mi no influyó, es importante saber que no son esos platos que se pegan a la mesa ósea el bebé lo puede mover con facilidad y puede salir volando, es importante que este uno al pendiente.

Muy bonitos colores y diseños, pero estan hechos para niños que coman en mesa pues el plato no cabe en las sillitas que son para comer. Los tendre que guardar un rato hasta que esté mas grande mi hijo.
