Good extender
I have a jio fibre at home. I always had the two rooms connectivity issue with jio. So when I installed jio, i asked jio guy to give me extra wire to shift the router from 1 room to another. Doing that was easy but at a cost of denting the fibre wire and frequent jio disconnection. Customer care told i should nt be touching the fibre as it is little delicate. So i ordered this, connected my router with an ease, and extended wifi to the required room. Speed is flawless. The only problem with this device or it could be with any extender is that it cannot be far from main router, otherwise it will not catch the signals to extend. Thats why in picture you would see that i have put this extender at the AC (air condition) point at the high level, this point is parallel to router position and it is almost 12-15 meters away. So this device is good if your rooms are not far away from each other and there are no obstacles like wall, door.

Reasonably good product - DAP 1610 AC1200
I was desperate to find a wifi range extender and after a lot of dilly dallying went ahead with the D-Link as I have had a good experience with the brand in the past as well. Also it isnt too expensive for what it claims to achieve, even though I know that a Chinese made product will have a high rate of failure, especially if it is at the cheaper end of the spectrum. Anyways the product works beautifully though cant vouch if it really has a range of 1000 sq.ft. as claimed. For setting it up I suggest that you try doing so with your computer rather than trying the quick set up protocol by directly pressing WPS buttons on your router and the button on the extender. It didnt work for me despite multiple attempts. Also it helps immensely if the extender is in direct line-of-sight with the wifi routerAnd importantly, the speed drops by half. So if you have multiple gadgets at home which are already directly linked to the wifi router and then you are trying to also link up additional devices through the extender while your supplied bandwidth is less than 100Mbps then you will face high latency on your devices connected to the extender.Overall, a good buy especially it continues to sell at 2.5k

Very poor Wifi, speed, range
Very hopeless product. Once connected to the main router speed drops massively ! I have 100 mbps speed on my airtel broadband router and once connected to this extender's wifi, speed goes down to 5 mbps !Moreoever the range of the Wifi generated by this device is very very poor. Hardly 2-3 meters away and signal strength is just 2-3 bars.Product also heats up and is in a constant heated state, don't know when it might fail due to this.Very poor product, would not recommend.

Satisfactory performance; user-friendly interface, very easy to setup
This one's a pretty good extender - looks pretty good, compact in size. It was very easy to set up and you can choose to have separate extended networks for 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz. I have it paired with my D-Link router. It has a signal indicator bar on top which is pretty helpful to understand the strength of the signal it is receiving from your original wifi router. (If the signal is not that great, only half a bar will be lit up. If the signal is good, the full bar will be lit up)It is completely natural for the speed to drop when using the extender, and I get a steady 20 mbps speed ( I have a 100 mbps plan) in the farthest room of my house after connecting to my extender, which in my case is pretty good. The only thing that you need to ensure is that the extender is in proximity to the original router - the signal bar on top should be fully lit and bright green.People usually place the extender far away from the router and complain about low speeds as well - that's not right. If you keep the extender preferably in the next room or in a way that it receives unobstructed signal, trust me you are good to go.I've also seen some comments about overheating - Initially I used to place the extender far away and it used to feel a bit hot to touch but when I kept it closer to the router, it is barely lukewarm. I guess extenders overheat when they are placed at a poor signal location, because of which they are constantly trying to extract more bandwidth or reconnect to the routerDefinitely recommend this one.

A good product which supports 5g band
This is a good value for money product due to it's dual band capability. I am using it to extend the 5g band of my router. Talking about loss in speed, then I am getting 100mbps speed while connecting directly to my base router, while through repeater the speed I get is 60-70 mbps, so a loss of 30 mbps. But actually it works for me since the wifi connection and speed is constant through the extender. While at the same room I am not even getting the 5g signal from the base router.. So, yes it does it's work pretty fine.. And trust me every repeater will loose the speed to some extent..Edit:Have been using since last 6 months+As a range xtender it's good but at comparatively less speed. I have 150 mbps internet connection but when connected through range extender I get maximum 30-50 mbps speed. Howevee, it solves my purpose.I tried connecting it through CAT 6e Lan cable directly to my 5 g primary router even than I got maximum speed of 100 mbpsSo, to sum up if you just want extending the range at different location and speed drop doesn't matter much then it's good otherwise you can also buy a router 5G and use it as an extender buy connecting it through lan cable

Real wifi extender with additional RJ45 port
There are many wifi extenders but I selected this as this particular model gives one RJ45 port using that we can connect wifi to wired 2nd-router/switch/device with RJ45 port.As of now I am using it to connect my mobile hotspot signals to my wired network(Which also have CCTV installed) So far working fine happy with the performance as I am not using the wifi because I am using the RJ45 connector to connect my mobile hotspot to my router and I am using routers wifi so I can't comment on the Wi-fi coverage of the Wi-fi extender but the purpose to receive Wi-fi signal and amplify it and gives additional RG45 port to connect to any RJ45 device I am happy its working fine
